For those with short memories. 

Boise State at Oregon State:  Start of 2002 season, ESPN had this as a toss-up (Boise State with a 50.2% win percentage), so having the wrong winner isn’t a bad result. However, this was not a close game. 
Our Broncos got smashed.  BAD ESPN!
