MWC is 54-20 in OOC games so far...that's really good and up with the P6 conferences for win percentage. If the conference can stay close to the same clip for the remainder of the OOC we should be in pretty good shape for 3x NCAAT bids.

What the MWC is missing is marquee wins. SDSU's win over OSU is about it for really good wins so far. Unless that changes,  the ceiling will probably be 3 bids for the conference.

Sagarin has the MW as the #7th best conference in the land behind the ACC.

There are only two things I can't stand in this world: people who are intolerant of other people's cultures and the Dutch.

MWC has quite a few games vs the WCC coming up. So the fight is mostly with them.

I dont think MWC plays the ACC as much. So even though theyre close, not as many opportunities to make up ground unless ACC loses to other conferences.

That's pretty impressive. I think we ended up #7 in Sagarin last year at the end of the OOC, but were like 8th or 9th at this point in the season. MWC is also #7 right now in the Massey Composite so the metrics are there for potentially getting 4 teams into the NCAAT again if the league keeps winning OOC games and things shake out right in conference.

UNM and UNLV starting strong has really helped the MWC so far. SJSU looking solid has also helped a bunch. Just need to keep it up.

Some tough conference games today. Wyo and unm have two of their tougher ooc opponents to date. LMU v cs-ewe should be a good measuring stick game. LMU beat georgetown and wake forest already.

Will probably watch unm v st marys. Should be a good one and another measuring stick opponent.

AFA could have its hands full with Ark PB and wyo needs to get this win to keep tournament chances alive or they will end up playing spoiler.

New Mexico win would be huge.

Boise's wins over Colorado and Wazzu are quad 2 (currently) and very, very close to both being quad 1,

Today

LMU v cs-ewe

and

St marys v unm

Both of these look like resume games for future bubble/seeding considerations.

Looking forward to St Marys game, will def be the barometer setting to see if UNM is legit or not

With some of the clunkers the Pac has had - including a still winless Cal - being ranked at #5 is mindboggling
