Uh huh. The stealth troll.

This should always be the final game of the season for us. Rivalry, heaviest trophy in Football, fans bases ready and willing to throw punches… what’s not to like. It’s always a toss up and more likely to be a upset than what is expected. We’ll be there trying to shout down Reno.

I really wish you had beaten Hawaii.  Then a bowl game would be on the line and denying you that would be oh so sweet.

Things like that is what makes our love fest so special. Could have a crap year but denying your rival something special makes the season a little easier to swallow for the next 8 months.

It will be the salve we need also.

Don’t see why they wouldn’t.  Extra practice time and the MW gets more exposure.

It is embarrassing for the conference and the University.  This isn’t soccer.  At some point you have to say you don’t deserve a bowl game.  5 wins is definitely that point.

Somebody has to play, might as well go. A program like UNLV should have zero shame about this possibility.

MW won’t allow 5 win teams to go bowling.   Nobody with 5 wins should want to go bowling.

They won’t have a thing to say about it. We’ll be in the PAC before bowl season. Thanks for your concern. Now go get your basketball team back on its feet.

For UNLV, this game went from being a potential icing on the cake of a bowl season, to the game that will likely decide if they go to a bowl, to a pride game.

Can UNLV at least pull off a win to end what turned out to be a disappointing season? If I had to pick, I’d pick UNLV to lose lol. They seem to be great at that.

SJSU went to the Cure Bowl a few years ago and won with 5 wins.

At the team they chose teams based on their APR if no six win teams are available. Not sure if that’s still the case.

UNLV went to Hawaii so they can have a 13th game. NMSU lost a game with UNM, so they could schedule one with them @NMSU in 10 days and beat them. You’re normally supposed to have 7 wins with 13 game schedule, but fvck it. 6 wins works.
