Agreed but putting on another smallish attacking midfielder out of position as a center forward isn’t really a great option either. Reyna is no striker.

Truthfully, if Adams and Dest are the weak links that are giving up goals, the US doesn’t have a lineup that can overcome that.

Robinson (left back) and Reyna (winger/midfield) and not interchangable.  Ideally, both will be center pieces for the forseeable future.

Another 30 minutes and I won’t have to watch soccer again for another four years. I’ve got to say American soccer looks much better since the Dempsey days. We need another four Pulisics to come up through the ranks.

I know we're well into the 2nd half, but my 1st half observations are two-fold:  

(1) Our defense is"lazy".  HITH on not one, but two separate occasions does the opponent get into the middle (deep), unchecked, for easy crosses to execute on?  On that last Netherlands goal, No. 2 for the U.S. was just watching. 

(2) When we do get deep, our offense is just unbelievably uncreative.  Simple passes aren't made and creativity is (severely) lacking.  At best, it leads to "easy" shots on goal for the other 'tender to defend.

We're definitely toast...
