BYU is that bad and beat up right now. Last game in the series and both teams consider it a rivalry game. You all will be ready. Good luck to you and all the BYU fans on here. I'm gonna miss this game. I am Halfmanhalfbronco's bitch.
halfmanhalfbronco
I expect a fired up BYU. Our secondary will get burned a few times. Zoobs will get points. 34-31 Boise is my guess but. ByU win will not surprise me.

Only way this turns into a blowout is if Boise goes up big early imo.

bsu_alum9
Even though BSU’s team is probably 10-20% LDS, I’m pretty sure kicker Jonah Dalmas is the only returned LDS missionary (SoCal) on the Broncos football squad this year.
Pelado
I'll be at the game, but my confidence in my Cougars is pretty low. It's easy to see how they could lose by double digits. That said, hope springs eternal. Rise and shout!

Kiper still has Jaren as the 7th best QB in the draft as of yesterday. He's 24 years old. Family and kids. So in your opinion is this a one off year or deep trouble? Especially headed to the B12 next year.

Especially headed to the B12 next year. If he's projected in the first couple of rounds, he should go to the draft. I'd be surprised if he's still rated that highly, though, considering his drop-off this season. The drop-off could be explained by his playing through injury, but that would probably also drop his NFL stock since he's been injured every season. I'd feel better about next season if Jaren does return, because he has shown capacity for being very good. I'm not sure what the solution is for the defense. The defense has performed well (at times) in the past with this coaching staff. The first few games last year the D played well so it was easy to blame their late season collapse on all the injuries - and there were a lot of them last season. They have also had injury issues this season, but my sense has been that they have been healthier this season than last. Plus, most all the guys who gained experience because of injuries last year should be better for it this season. Except the D is playing even worse than they did to finish last season. It certainly feels like they need to bring in a new coordinator to run an effective defense. I'm not really worried about long-term issues. Lucky for me, my livelihood is not dependent on how well the team plays. Once they're in In the Big 12, they'll probably typically finish with 7 or 8 wins overall with an occasional conference championship. Because they'll be facing tougher competition on average, they will probably suffer losing seasons more frequently than they have the last 40+ years. And still have an FCS team to pad the stats against Utah Tech next week.

The drop-off I'm talking about is from earlier in the season (Utah State game and prior) versus later in the season (Notre Dame and since). His play early in the season is what got him so high on the draft board lists. He hasn't looked nearly as sharp overall since the Utah State game.
