TBF, I read his Wikipedia page and it follows the narrative that you referred to as the Liberal narrative. You cited an autobiography written by his Mom and I have no reason to disbelieve you, and obviously your source is more compelling than Wikipedia. 

That said it is very easy to see why people are ignorant. 

And the guy is a complete asshole. People want to find reasons to hate him. It's understandable.

Well, a whole bunch of the sky screaming lefties do.  They cared so much they created, promoted and believed a lie that Musk grew up with a silver spoon in his mouth.

I think when analyzing Musk, and that's what this thread has become about, it's good to point out how easily lefty gets fooled.  The party of science and facts!!! LMFAO.

It is also important, when analyzing Musk, to point out he actually grew up in dysfunction and abuse.  He worked odd jobs with nothing to his name and no support system.  He is on the spectrum.  Just being a functioning adult would have been beating the odds.  Instead he became one of the greatest futurists of all time and the worlds richest man.

I don't care to get involved with the discussion of hiw smart or dumb or how great of a businessman he is or isn't...... But he is a trash person and it's been pretty evident since he accused that diver of being a pedo because they didn't want his stupid submarine.

One of the benefits I've liked about Twitter has been the posting of links to material outside of Twitterverse. It has allowed it to be used like starting at Google or Bing to find internet material elsewhere. Someone mentions something posted elsewhere and links to it to allow it to be read.

Instead this sounds like they are shifting to a walled garden model. Pay to use us and then only look at material posted on our site/app.

My personal Twitter use has already declined in the last few weeks (I do not have an account, I only read posts). I may see my use decline more. Elon can do his business plan any way he wants. But like other businesses if it does not work for me I stop using it.

European officials warning Twitter about crossing into editorial control by limiting links to other content. This is the French Government deputy director of France's Cyberspace Gendarmerie Command.

I'll have to review the US section 230 when I have time to see how things are worded there.

Here are my thoughts on the "assault" on one of Musk's 73 children.

1. Musk's children, due to very legit kidnapping concerns, 100% travel with very high end and armed bodyguards.

2. If a masked man dressed in black jumped on the hood of the car carrying one of his children, there is a 0% chance that the response of that bodyguard would be to take a video of it.

3. Does anyone find it extremely coincidental that this "attack" (in which no actual violence or harm was caused) happened two days after Musk was roundly being ridiculed everywhere from his own platform to the late night TV shows for banning the jet tracker account.

4. 100% Staged.

Musk just magically became rich,... Because I proved he did not come from privilege It was the lizards right?

People in my position don't think lizard people exist like I don't think that your God had zero assistance and is unequivocally "self-made".

Didn’t call police about the incident. It was probably staged to give reason for banning jet tracker boy.

 

He’s just gonna get more extreme as time goes on.
