Some kind of kompromat, definitely.  Given Elmo's megalomaniacal self-regard, childishness and the fact that he's probably a sex addict, I don't think it would be too hard for the FBS to put a nice file together on him.  On one of his early trips to Moscow to buy rockets, his hosts apparently goaded him into getting pass out drunk on vodka shots.  Someone like that would be easy pickings for the FBS.

With China, their leverage over him is pretty clearly economic.

Elon Musk can be multiple things. We all are. He can be a highly capable, highly intelligent organizer/producer/visionary and also a super cringe megalomaniac dork. He can be part con-man and part altruist, at least in his mind anyway. People are complicated.

I'm not sure how long his companies or work may endure, things change very quickly these days, but the guy himself will be infamous for a long time. Might be some weird folk hero in the 2100s.

Yeah though I don’t think the KGB executed the plan in Moscow.  Everyone in the world knows to watch out for such tactics there.   But using them elsewhere where people had their guard down…..

I kinda agree but that would require them taking over all of SpaceX,  Which is an entity we can really not place ED value on.  IT would be tied up in courts for years.  Musk could argue Space X is worth 1 trillion and would have a not unsolid argument.  It decides if nations live or die.... and is on the precipice of mining and collecting resources from space....decades before any world government could

You can not nationalize Starlink without nationalizing SpaceX....and the reason SpaceX and Starlink are possible is because of Musks genius and vision.  You think the US government, which could not get done what musk did, would make it better?

Sounds like a reasonable solution…..

1) I think Elon is every bit the genius @halfmanhalfbronco says he is. 

2) as a person with Asbergers Elon is much more susceptible to sexual difficulties than an average person.  A) doesn’t read people well and B) tends to be highly sexual. 

3) the country is much better of with Elon not burnt at the stake but his many odd moves scream compromised by Putin.  

a) wtf buy Twitter.  It’s not in his wheelhouse and was a horrible investment. Why re-enable Russian trolls?

b) why turn off Starlink at key times to foil an attack?

Just a follow-up here….  Studies have shown connections between high functioning Autism and sexual disorders.  (Elon’s daughter is trans, as is the daughter of a person I know).  

What I don’t think has been properly vetted is the security risk this poses with associated with foreign actors.

I just find the "Russia inticed him to +++++ underage russian spies" angle...crazy....there is nothing to indicate anything of the sort...I mean...what the +++++...There is mountains more evidence to suggest Killary killed a dozen people than there is Elon is complicated due underage Russian spies...dude come on
