Fresno has dominated the series in recent years. The Aztecs tend to win when Fresno is bad.

Despite losing Jake Haener, Tedford has his Dawgs playing well.

The Spaztecs have been just that. Spazzy coupled with lousy play.

I'm rooting for my Aztecs, but will be shocked if we can keep it to a one score game. To many mistakes on both sides of the ball, coupled with a pedestrian D, and lame line play make the Aztecs a big underdog in this one.

Without Haener, we’ll struggle to score. Aztecs always have a good Defense. Our Defense has been good lately, so I’d expect a close, low scoring game. Similar to the Hoser game.

Our defense is not very good. Our offense is worse. Both have played "better" of late but probably a function of playing two really bad teams. 

This whole conference is Train fire/ dumpster wreck.

Don’t know, but hoping for the worst for the Ass-tec fans. Long drive back south taking big whiffs of cow manure down the 99 and 5.

Has Haener been ruled out already? 6 weeks for a sprained ankle?

High ankle sprain. For some athletes, it’s a season ender. I believe Tedford said they would make a decision Thursday, but from what I’ve heard, he’s probably not going to play.

This year that doesn't seem to be the case. You'll handle our pressure and expose our DBs. Unless you guys lay an egg, you'll comfortably handle us.

Fife seems good for one or two inexplicably bad plays per game and I fully expect the Aztecs to take advantage.

The key for Fresno to beat the Aztecs, since about 2017, has always been to get a north-south running game going. FS has the capability to do that, but I am hesitant to make any firm predictions to that effect with how inconsistent and injury-ridden the OL has been. Thankfully it now appears that the OL is getting healthier. We will have to see.

Defensively Fresno's DL has been dominant in recent weeks, but SDSU's athletic QB is sadly probably the best we've faced in conference so far.

Given our offensive challenges, we'll need Fife to be more generous than just 1 or 2 bad plays. I fear this will be a good old fashioned butt whooping!

Here’s the deal. We can’t run block worth a shit but Mayden can throw a little. Stop us from passing effectively and the game is over basically. Also, we are very vulnerable to a passing attack and struggle to create pressure. This is just not a good matchup and the bookies know it.

Betting sports is about the money. Not going to bet against the Aztecs. But this game has a Fresno blowout all over it. I will very surprised if SDSU keeps this close. Very surprised.
