Their fear about "CRT" is more likely that they don't want to have to explain why meemaw is in the background of that photo from the 60s yelling at the black kids integrating schools.

That is the goal. Vouchers for white parents wanting to send their kids to private, white, Christian Schools.

It isn't whites.  This reeks more of pure assimilation to their idyllic utopia of a monotheistic, unilateral power structure buoyed by America, LLC.  Stripping anything less than a prideful history, a government ruled by their perversed use of the Christian faith, and a repressive society for those that don't meet their particular muster.  Sounds strikingly familiar to some places I have visited.

In the end, that is what it will become.  Right now, it is about traditional American "values" and "pride".  It is an adverse reaction to liberties for non-traditional demographics and a denial of things that were not putting us in the "excellence" category.  Right now, that is a view shared by many.  But it is a combative group, that needs someone to blame, to repress, to quash.  Once all the trans, the ultra libs, the "infanticiders" are defeated, they will need a new thing to go after.  Idaho is going with birth control already.  Already talks of Christian prayer in schools, states rights to decide on gay marriage, even a few candidates who want to do the same with interracial marriage.  There will always be a need to feel the victim, so they can then attack what they don't like.  So in the end, it may come down to that.  But that is not what it is yet.
