Bryan Harsin Watch

Recommended Posts

Fun game this weekend.  Harsin has to go against Drinkwitz and Mizzou.  Drinkwitz worked for Harsin here and was clear he couldn't wait to get away from Harsin.  Didn't like it at all.

And now he can knock Harsin out of Auburn permanently with a W?

Harsin got what he wanted and thought he was ready for.  One more big payday on his way out...

Must be nice to be able to fire a coach, drop some millions and move on.

We held on to Davie until the program needed a defibrillator and a necromancer to suit up for another year.

Harsin has $15M left on his contract after this year. Not a bad severance package. Lol.

These programs play for real money. They can’t afford to slip behind because of a bad hire.

I wonder if Auburn would hire Deion Sanders? That could definitely shake up the SEC.

Hopefully P5 schools will stop poaching our coaches now (and CSU, jokes on you guys 😄). It’s almost comical how bad the last batch of coaches leaving for the P5 were, their average tenure is just over two years:

Harsin: Likely gone after 2 years at Auburn

Wells: Fired after 2.5 years at Texas Tech

McElwain: Fired after 2.5 years at Florida

Rolovich: Fired after 1.5 years at Washington State

DeBoer looks like he’ll reverse the trend though.

Harsin was immediately a dead man walking the day he signed that contract.  Good pay day for him, but he isn't on that level as a coach or recruiter.  Dumb decision by the AD to even hire him in the first place.

Harsin is way to much of a boy-scout to make it in the SEC. Everybody is on the take down there and NIL won’t change a thing because the players “uncle/advisor” will still need to get paid.

It’s the big leagues of dirty deeds. PIs following coaches around (in case they go to a strip club), Lawyers on retainer by your booster club to make sure Aaron Hernandez can still play after he shoots a dude in the face. DAs that won’t prosecute players with anything more than a misdemeanor, rape, burglary, shooting an AK-47 in a residential neighborhood all misdemeanors.

Harsin did not stand a chance, if a first class sleaze-ball like Bobby Petrino got runout of the SEC what did you think would happen with Harsin. No way he was planting rumors about other coaches and programs but you can bet your ass they were doing it to him. He was out of his depth in that shark tank. That’s what I think anyhow.

TCU vs Boise State was the last great MWC rivalry game

Nonsense, your mom vs @Dr.Dre was the last great rivalry game in the MWC.

Don't be mad because the refs are going to need Tommy John surgeries after this poorly played game.
