After that bad injury to my pancreas several years ago and the following bouts of pancreatitis, blueberries are a staple of my diet.  Not a better food in the world for healing your pancreas.  They also slow down aging and help inflation.

blueberries are awesome. the only problem is that the quality of blueberries from the grocery store is very hit or miss

Yeah, that "0% inflation" attempted brag last week made me lul in my pants a little.

Velocity = distance/time

@jodiecongirl's analogy would be Inflation = change in price level/time.  An analogy not a parallel.  So analogizing, Inflation = 0%/month. 0 divided by anything is 0.

Btw, if you missed it, a key wholesale price metric (PPI) came in today at -0.5% MoM.

Inflation is like porn. You know it when you see it. Whatever the eggheads or politicians decide inflation is or isn't on any given day really doesn't matter.

We’re all sitting in the dugout. Thinking we should pitch. How you gonna throw a shutout when all you do is bitch.

The price of socks dropped but the cost to feed your family went up 13%.  Congrats!

The August PCE is out and we still have inflation.  Headline, including gas/energy, was up 0.3% MoM (July was -0.1%) and rest of the details in the link.  Personal incomes and spending also up slightly. M0ar inflation. For now.

Looks like its flattening to me.

PCE is a slightly different and (theoretically) broader measure. That graph looks to be the headline (full) CPI (urban).  The + 0.3% CPE MoM ≈ 3.6% annualized. I'd take 4% inflation for now.  However, there are subtexts to the August CPE that reflect continued inflation. How much?  TBD.
