You guys just came in your pants at this news.

Trump has cooperated at wvery level.  To raid his property is scary shit   If the weaponized DC justice system prosecutes and convicts trump it will be the most singular divisive act ever taken by a political party.

Trump will be indicted the day after he announces to run after the DOJ FBI waited a year and a half.

Half of this country will be alienated...it won't be good...but you will be happy.

So does this mean you guys will do another raid? This time on all the field offices of the FBI in each state? I'm pretty sure the dummies that didn't get arrested for Jan 6th are ready to "stand back and stand by". The orange clown just has to say the word..

So did Trump have classified documents that he shouldn't have had at Mar a Lago?

Let's start there.

Yep.  That's the first thing.  And then, is the FBI action proportional.  Look, I want Trump gone as much as any democrat does.  I think another nominee who didn't have to fight Trump in a primary would be a heavy favorite in 2024.  But it's got to be legitimate and proportional, otherwise it's creating a living martyr.

Agree.  But, we don't know what docs he has either.  They could be putting people at risk or already has.  With how divided this country is, we could be headed down a very dark path.

On the other hand, if he did some serious shit, then he needs to be punished.

What do you mean?  I'm not trying to be stupid, I'm just not clear.  I don't think Trump took a list of CIA operatives names to Mar Lago.

Who knows what he has but even if there are details of how info was obtained it could compromise people and methods.

I just figure if they are going to all of this trouble, those docs better be very important.

I wouldn't put anything past a man that planned and QB'd a raid on the capital with his own mob.  Does anyone with a brain think Trump is actually an honest and ethical person?

I see some R’s on my Facebook saying DeSantis had to know of the warrant before hand because he’s the governor of Florida.. Does the FBI really have to let them know before hand before any warrants are executed?

No, they don’t. A DeSantis spokeswoman confirmed they didn’t know. The Florida AG also said she hadn’t know ahead of time.

We’re all sitting in the dugout. Thinking we should pitch. How you gonna throw a shutout when all you do is bitch.

So they saw it on the news like everybody else?

I’ve seen that on twitter too. But no way governors have to clear every fbi warrant. Desantis offer confirmed it didn’t know and he’s supporting Trump over federal law enforcement.

I don't disagree with that.

But I also wouldn't put it past the FBI after all their RussiaGate hoax shenanigans.  Which by the way, if you can't admit was dirty as hell at this point, is a you problem, regardless of how you feel about Trump.

He was the President. The only reason documents are classified are for his benefit. Taking them to his private golf course seems stupid, but it doesn’t seem illegal. Who would be giving this maniac classified documents after he left office.

And an FBI problem. And a DOJ problem. And a Twitter lawyer and media problem. This is a rubicon. Radio silence on the explanation isn’t good.

EZ turbo.  Let's wait and see what comes out.  It's still early.

Same energy here.

Lol. I just clicked on fox news to see what was going on there. Tenage dracula Stephen Miller was screaming about Rome and Hunter Biden.

Planning is an exercise of power, and in a modern state much real power is suffused with boredom. The agents of planning are usually boring; the planning process is boring; the implementation of plans is always boring. In a democracy boredom works for bureaucracies and corporations as smell works for skunk. It keeps danger away. Power does not have to be exercised behind the scenes. It can be open. The audience is asleep. The modern world is forged amidst our inattention.

It will be interesting to see how many people Trump will try to bribe in this.
