This is almost comical. First the Supreme Court overturns Roe vs Wade. The Dems counter by invading a former presidents home. It would have been better if they had waited until he was at home and cuffed and hauled him off to jail with the cameras clicking. 

Very dangerous precedent. They better have the goods on him because the gloves will come off when the Republicans eventually assume control of Congress.

Trump doesn't turn over classified information he took from the White House---dangerous precedent

Nah, the fake electors isn’t a nothing burger, for one. They’ve got him on that. They’re just being greedy and want to find whatever else they can find. If they, for some reason, don’t have the goods they thought they did, they’ll keep the cloud over his head until 2024. There’s no way they’ll give Trump any kind of win out of this. I also don’t think he really has much support right now, anyway.

A lot of the GOP is fearful of what the left could do if given more wins, and are afraid to let go of Trump support until a person comes along that’s a winner that could do better in a general. Desantis isn’t that person. He’s just not that likable. Trump has no chance in a general. He can’t even beat Biden in a hypothetical even as down as he is.

I have to agree with you. This is no normal ex-President. Let’s be honest. However, people are worried about it looking banana republic which is a fair point to make, but again, Trump tried to pull off some pretty extreme things.

If we’re going to start getting into classified documents, Hillary was 100 times more guilty of that shit, and it actually resulted in our enemies getting them. Did Trump’s actions result in our enemies getting documents from being careless? Haven’t heard of any.

I don't remember all the specifics of Hillary but she absolutely should have gotten in more trouble and been barred from public office.

Didn't someone already ask Trump to hand over those documents? If he complied then this wouldn't be an issue.  

I can't say at this juncture if anyone else has gotten Trump's documents.
