It does raise raise concerns for me.  Top secret nuclear documents and files should probably not have to be leaked to know where they are or who has custody.

I'm guessing Trump just figures since he develped the secret weapon it's his intellectual property to do with as he sees fit. Remember this little braggadocio............

“I have built a nuclear, a weapon, I have built a weapon system that nobody’s ever had in this country before,” Trump said in an interview with journalist Bob Woodward for his book published this week.

“We have stuff that you haven’t even seen or heard about. We have stuff that Putin and Xi have never heard about before,” Trump said, referring to Presidents Vladimir Putin of Russia and Xi Jinping of China. “There’s nobody. What we have is incredible.”

When Trump asked his opinion on holding the massive military parade, general Selva said, “I didn’t grow up in the United States I actually grew up in Portugal. Selva said “Portugal was a dictatorship and parades were about showing the people who had the guns, and in this country we don’t do that. That’s not who we are.”

Trump said, “So… you don’t like the idea?”

I said it earlier, from what I heard, the warrant could have attachments that could include statutes violated based on probable cause.  Which would be some good chewing gum for the attorney talking heads to analyze.

It’s not just for drinking. Bleach also pairs well with visine.

We’re all sitting in the dugout. Thinking we should pitch. How you gonna throw a shutout when all you do is bitch.

For sure.  That is why the bar could not have been "because he violated the presidential records act".  It needed to be higher.  And it was.

I would have been pretty outraged if the FBI demanded Obama's personal cell phone and laptop for emails and texts related to the general day to day job of being POTUS. Or pictures of the blueprint to a white house addition. Wouldn't you?  It is almost assured he did do that. I mean come on.  Every president violates the act in some manner, probably often. It's pretty dumb.  I would not have been outraged if he was using those devices to send nuclear secrets to his colleagues and the FBI asked for those devices for that reason.

The bar needed to be higher than violating the presidential records act, or obtaining documents that belonged to the people.  The bar needed to be national security, and it was.

I think you need to have more respect for Garland.   Just based on what we have seen in terms of Contempt of Congress actions he has proven to be a pretty balanced AG.  The partisans on both sides hate him so he must be doing something right.  In my mind he has more credibility than many of your beloved SCOTUS judges.

I hate Biden but his choice of Garland as AG might save the country.

I DO have respect for Garland, not sure where that is coming from.  It seems the bar was what I thought it should be, and Garland agreed.  However I think the idea that Biden was blind to the whole thing is ridiculous.  He likely did not know the date and hour, but he knew it was coming.  Thinking otherwise is naive.

The people without respect for Garland seem to be the ones who think the bar should be lowered to "violation of presidential records act". (looking at you)  Garland ain't that dumb.  If it was not a national security issue, this never happens.

When the warrant is released, I’m expecting you to be in your best unbiased suit and give us right down the middle analysis.

Not serious on the mind part.

They have distanced themselves from Daddy.  1/6 testimony.

May never know.

After they got the $2billion, right? 😆

I can just hear that conversation..

"I want my money".

"Nah.. you're going down, so we're keeping it" (as they phone in a tip to crime stoppers)

When Trump talked to General Mattis about his desire for a military parade he told Mattis he didn’t want any wounded guys in the parade, this doesn’t look good for me. He explained with distaste that there had been wounded soldiers and vets that had been captured at previous parades.

Kelly could not believe what he was hearing, “Those are heroes”, he told Trump. In our society there is only one other group who are more heroic and they are o er in Arlington. Kelly did not mention his own son Robert, a lieutenant killed in action in Afghanistan, was among the dead interred there.

I don’t want them, Trump repeated, it’s not a good look for me.

It’s why all his generals hated him.

From documents for the national archivist to nuclear secrets, it’s been quite a trip already.

Nah, I think they are knee deep in it.

$2 billion might cover that?

or not

I play golf, watch and follow golf, so the topic of the LIV tour and all the goings on of that is discussed a few times a week in casa de toonkee with Mrs. toonkee. A couple weeks ago my wife said this while thing is just too weird,  there's too much easy money and this has got to be some kind of money laundering scheme.

I don't play golf.  I don't follow golf.  I don't think it is a sport anymore than axe throwing or darts and far less intense even than chess.  I disdain the "sport".

Yer wife is right.  That was clear to me after reading the first article on it.  Significant money playing their hands, money that does not have our best interests.  +++++ the LIV and those schills that are playing.

We had a family reunion in NoCO last summer.  My former BSU QB and coaching nephew and a 2nd cousins' husband held court on the corn hole game for a couple of hours. Light was fading fast.  Me and one cousin's son (mayor of a town in Alaska) had also lost a previous challenge.  For some reason my first tosses were off.  Then after coming back from losing an early lead, I holed my last three tosses to go past 21.  My nephew had the  last toss to win if he holed it, but no -- family legend. War corn hole.
