It won't happen, but it would be nice to see Congress enact some laws detailing some specific requirements surrounding the act of declassifying (i.e., you have to actually let government departments know), and eliminating the ability for a President to self-pardon or issue blanket pardons before a crime is committed. Trump has definitely exposed some holes in the system.

Yeh. And, the issues of over/excessive classifications has long been need or remedy.

Yeah that's a tough nut to crack though. Who ends up policing whether things should or should not be classified? My guess is it would have to be someone in NARA, but that's pretty far outside their wheelhouse. I suppose you could have an interagency review with State/CIA/DOJ? But somehow you would have to have some transparency watchdog weigh in (again maybe getting back to NARA). It spins my bureaucratic mind to even start thinking of how to tackle it.
