Convert used to live in Kansas.

Clearly the effects havent worn off.

In the beginning the Universe was created.
This has made a lot of people very angry and been widely regarded as a bad move.

Would you say this same thing about the 2nd Amendment?

How many guns have you given birth to?

A right is a right, wouldn't you agree? Although when comparing the two, only one is actually a right.

Can you currently buy a fully automatic weapon right now?  Does not being able to do so infringe upon your rights?

So, no, I would not agree.  And neither would Antonin Scalia (RIP).

Actually, you can buy a fully automatic rifle right now, if you pass the background checks.

Yes. People don't like that right taken away from them, either.

Planning is an exercise of power, and in a modern state much real power is suffused with boredom. The agents of planning are usually boring; the planning process is boring; the implementation of plans is always boring. In a democracy boredom works for bureaucracies and corporations as smell works for skunk. It keeps danger away. Power does not have to be exercised behind the scenes. It can be open. The audience is asleep. The modern world is forged amidst our inattention.

How is one "actually" a right while the other is not?

One is in the bill of rights, the other is not.

Individual right to carry is not in the bill of rights.

Except in the 9th. Tho, some suggest a problem with.that too.

Dat rite!!! Hays, KS…….dead center Kansas. I lived there for 5 years and traveled all over for my job and met a ton of people doing so. It took a lot of getting used to. For a while, people were soooo nice it would get annoying and just piss me off. I never realized about the German immigrants coming to America thing in KS and they built little mini cathedrals all over the place. I had no idea the Catholic Church was so big out there. Lots of sharp structures sticking up…..a total sky diving hazard.
