Looks Like Matt is clear, the other SDSU players who brutally raped a kid and stayed on the team all year despite everybody knowing about it....yikes

Did you actually read it or no?

Yep.  The video said she was "not passed out" well....great....She was still left bloody and in tears...by your players on your team...a kid.

That's not all it indicated obviously or you didn't actually read the whole thing. I'm guessing you read it and if you still feel like everyone else is guilty that's your right. The evidence seems to indicate otherwise.

I don't see how the DA had any other choice in the matter.

Like I know I stated on the one SDSU board and may have also mentioned here many months ago, one of the accused players has a father who was suspected of abuse of the mother prior to her moving a few thousand miles away while leaving the son with the father. According to the father, that decision was left up to the son. (From what I could tell, the mother always declined to comment.) That same player is now alleged to have been the first assailant by having had sex with the girl on the living room couch.

Other than that player, who apparently left California many months ago and is probably in need of some long-term therapy, it appears that, as Araiza has always said, the sex he had with the girl was both outside the house and consensual. Only one other accused rapist or observer was identified as having been on the football team.

Damn. That’s pretty messed up.

You know prosecutors, this story could have came out before Cincy drafted a punter.

We’re all sitting in the dugout. Thinking we should pitch. How you gonna throw a shutout when all you do is bitch.

I'm glad it appears that Araiza was not there.

I think the take away is Araiza is probably innocent of gang rape. But in the room she may have been assaulted. The lawyer really messed this up.

Pretty much.  Wasn't one of the payers in the room also arrested  for child pornography?

Yeah I think so, but it may be the same guy that she has sex with on the couch. I can’t recall. He’s definitely one of them though.

I did. And what I can infer is they have no proof of assault in the room based on a few videos none of which are very long. That’s doesn’t mean she wasn’t assaulted. The only things that have multiple witness, including her friends, is her encounter with Matt, and the guy on the couch. After that it’s just the brief recordings and their word against hers.

Agree with that.  Definitely still could have been an assault in the room.  One part of the article that stuck out to me is quoted below.  Because just two weeks ago a post upthread stated she was “left bloody” as if it was a matter of fact.  The public prosecution in this case was unfortunate to say the least.

Prosecutors also said that videos from the bedroom show that her piercings were not ripped at the time and she was not bleeding from any wounds from it.”

Amateur hour all the way around.

The girl had consensual sex with the punter, then later enjoyed getting gangbanged on tape. Players were dumb enough to engage in this with a stranger at a party.

Took lawyers and prosecutors a full year to come to this conclusion? Cash grab failed, the players are probably working the morning shift at McDs.

Should be a lesson to all college athletes, don’t engage in dumb shit.

Too many frothy mouthbreathing SJWs lining up to be prosecutors and/or public defenders these days because it’s the only job they can get after graduation. The justice system greatly suffers as a result.

Punt God is yet another reason why the wheels of justice should be allowed to roll before rushing to any judgments. All this does is further discredits actual rape victims. Dude should sue for defamation, lost wages, and punitive damages to the max.

About a decade ago, I had work that involved among other parties a "boutique" SoCal law firm that specialized in representing cops accused of such misconduct as excessive force in arrests and racial discrimination. Not only would that firm defend such cops from accusations of criminal activity, their M.O. included suing the cities or counties the officers worked for in an effort to delay termination, which often led to the officers being placed on paid administrative leave. If that didn't work, and sometimes even when it did, they would sue their client's department for alleged violation of their constitutional rights under section 1983 of the US Code. Word is that firm always took those cases on a contingency basis and so had a personal interest in slapping on as many causes of action as possible in order to boost the amount of any settlement reached. Eventually, the firm went belly up because its reputation for shady business became so bad cops realized that hiring them besmirched their own reputation even if criminal charges were dropped. It sure seems like the attorney you refer to probably uses tactics similar to those of that firm.
