I missed that the Pokes and USU swapped Levi Williams and Peasley. Also, Cordeiro was a nice get for SJSU. Surprising to see all these intra-conference transfers.

What should the Rams expect from Clay Millen, Wolf Pack fans? I’m assuming it will at least be an upgrade over the Temple transfer we had last year.

Kind of meaningless, but it does raise some interesting questions.  I'm not real interested in taking the time to list all of the questions but for instance...

Levi Williams and Chevon Cordeiro in a different system under a different coach, how will they fare?

As @Ram1554 mentioned...how will the young guns stack up?  Montes was somewhat impressive as a RS, and Millen is an unknown completing 1 of his only 2 passing attempts, but was a 247 4star out of HS.

Plenty of other stories.  I don't think the '21 QB ratings really mean all that much for most of them (we know what to expect from Hank, etc.), but there will be some good stories built into the MWC QB battles this year.

Levi Williams should have stayed at Wyoming. He was the starter there. Doubt he gets much playing time behind Bonner unless Bonner is injured. Bonner is a baller. Isn’t Williams GF at USU? I guess he likes getting pun tang more than playing football.

You don't?

BTW, I think Levi is a baller as well.  He looks like it, but never seemed to have the chance to show it under Bohl.

The "rumor" was their respective girlfriends were the cause.  Not that I pay a lot of attention to rumors.

The meaning is pretty obvious.  Air Force virtually never has any QB's who are included in the national passing rankings because their offense simply doesn't pass the ball enough to qualify.   It's a fact.  Just like the PER of these QB's from 2021 are also facts.

Yet you included the stats from Montes and Millen?  And yes, those are all facts.  Meaningless facts.  Cordiero's stats in Hawaii don't necessarily mean a damn thing in San Jose.  I stand by my point.  Meaningless stats for most of the conference, but the basis for some good stories to watch.  Like I said, there probably won't be much in the way of surprises from Hank, but we really don't know what to expect from a lot of the other conference QB's.

Cordeiro's rating is misleading. He put up big numbers against lowly Portland State and NMSU on the rock and against UCLA and USU after his team was down by 4 TDs or so and against CSU after the Rams had quit on Addazio.

Williams will be behind Legas as well, he performed very well in the LA Bowl after Bonner went down. Doesn't make sense to me to leave a starting job for a 3rd string.

Williams got engaged to a girl on the USU volleyball team almost immediately after transferring. Leaving Bohl's offense could have been part of his reasoning, but it seems pretty clear the girl was the biggest factor.

Bonner got hurt enough last year that his backup will need to be ready. Legas played really well in the bowl game, but Williams absolutely torched USU. Will be interesting to see who ends up as the second string QB.

What am I supposed to do with this information?

It’s a pretty meaningless stat IMO.

PER = ((8.44 x yards) + (330 x touchdown passes) + (100 x completions) - (200 x interceptions)) divided by attempts.

That is definitely a pretty contrived statistic.

I figured when I saw Cordeiro high up. He’s mediocre at best.

Based upon what we saw in the spring game, I'd be happy with either, but Leg[ol]as is the guy.

You keep using that word. I do not think that word means what you think it means.

Crow about it if your guy is #1, mock it as useless if he isn't

Remember that every argument you have with someone on MWCboard is actually the continuation of a different argument they had with someone else also on MWCboard.

Nick Starkel was a much better QB and they failed to even qualify for a bowl game. They were just as bad the year before, but….COVID.
