Lobos sign Josiah Allick of UMKC

Recommended Posts

That’s it for Lobos recruiting this year as UNM only had 2 spots open for the 22/23 season. Assuming no one leaves the team between now and the start of the season, we’ll have the same back court, experienced players moving back to their natural positions, and now with added beef in the middle… looking good… as long as Pitino can get them to play together. Looking forward to this upgraded version on Lobos basketball.

Allick looks to be a stretch forward with a good 3 pt shot but does not play big inside.

Udeze is a stout but below the rim big hopefully an effective rebounder.

Our best new face will likely be Donovan Dent, a true PG with great size, hopefully can keep our NBA twins from stampeding and getting other Lobos involved.

I'm hopeful Lobos move into the top half of the MWC but doubtful about top 3.  This is not your dad's Alford Lobos.
