The longest relationship I have been in was with two other women.

Was…everything ends badly, but two breakups at the same time must have been nuts.

We’re all sitting in the dugout. Thinking we should pitch. How you gonna throw a shutout when all you do is bitch.

I don't know about the "religious motivation."  I honestly don't see how there could be.  At least not a credible one.  I'm not claiming to be a biblical scholar, but I can comfortably say there is nothing  in the Bible that prohibits interracial marriage.  I honestly don't think they are even discouraged.  There are  more examples of interracial marriage in the Bible than I can recall.  I think Moses and Ziphora (probably spelled wrong) is just one example.

No doubt there are some religious rednecks that twist shit around to justify their bigotry.  They probably do the same thing to justify banging their little sister.

There is a lot about homosexuality being a sin, however. https://www.openbible.info/topics/man_shall_not_lay_with_man

It's a straight out sin - no ifs, ands or buts - and given that the Good Book is the inspired word of God (allegedly), I'm waiting for God to recognize his (in houses off worship, it's never "her") error and order that a new version be printed.

Sometimes.  Answer the question.  Do all people deserve equal protection under the law?

I'll venture to guess that "irrelevant" is gonna be somewhere in the response if there is one.

Planning is an exercise of power, and in a modern state much real power is suffused with boredom. The agents of planning are usually boring; the planning process is boring; the implementation of plans is always boring. In a democracy boredom works for bureaucracies and corporations as smell works for skunk. It keeps danger away. Power does not have to be exercised behind the scenes. It can be open. The audience is asleep. The modern world is forged amidst our inattention.

There you go. Gays will never be excepted by religious zealots. It must be hell for some of the religious zealots trying to suppress their same sex desires. Tough way to live.

Somehow I think the Bible also has a verse that those without sin cast the first stone.   Funny enough those were the words of Jesus versus Paul who condemned gays.   Sadly too many choose to follow Paul over Jesus.

He does not.

Remember that every argument you have with someone on MWCboard is actually the continuation of a different argument they had with someone else also on MWCboard.

That’s deep theology, man.

The wrong use of religion was a topic in the Gospels esp. Matthew and Luke. John wrapped it up.

Love me a good set of Levitical laws.

Wait, so you are saying God might not smite me for having bed head?
