Really? A strong relationship with Kruger?

between him and Lindsey possibly sticking around, atleast that's *some* hope that Cartman didn't pull all the weight in on the recruiting front

If you could combine Marcus Arroyos’ swag with Kevin Kruger’s coaching DNA, then you’d have something.

No different than having Ron Paul’s message in Mitt Romney’s body!

We don't want anything Marcus Arroyo.

We have what we want and need in Kevin Kruger.  Just enjoy the ride to the top.

I'm with ph on this one. Marcus Arroyo arrogant attitude might be unappealing to many, but he really picked up where Sanchez left-off on the "Vegas" branding with a flasher and edgier approach. It's obviously appealing to recruits and there's a hell of a lot more buzz in the Fertitta Football Complex than in the Mendenhall center right now.

Kevin Kruger is looking STALE and low energy--and it's showing up in his recruiting.

Gee, I wonder which recruit had more fun on their visit to UNLV.....

It’s been so long since these programs were led by real professionals that everyone has forgotten what they were crying about for these past 11 years. CKK doesn’t run around with his tail on fire in front of the press all  day. Then when there is no daily news breaks and pictures from private jets the same people are whining about how he isn’t doing enough.

7 for sure but possibly 8 returning players players next year. A top freshman forward coming in. 3 scholarships remaining. April 16th and plenty of good players still in the portal.

And actually a really good endorsement from Donovan Williams. He could probably go to many other schools if not the NBA, but he's adamant about returning to UNLV if he takes that path.

Kruger has major recruits coming to visit UNLV, difference makers that will lead us to the NCAA Tournament. Arroyo is 2-16.

Arroyo is a low IQ used car salesman.

Kevin Kruger is an elite coach who does it the right way.

#40 on this list was in Vegas this weekend.

For a coach that doesn’t put any effort into or doesn’t know how to recruit he sure seems to be on a bunch of top recruits lists. Probably just some intern seeding out letters with offers. Usually you don’t get down to these guys final list without a little effort though.  Quizzical?

Almost as interesting as how people here were giving Hartman credit for a good recruit that Florida landed 5 days after his hiring was announced. Usually these guys take months or years to recruit. Quizzical?

I haven't seen him play but from what I have found online sounds like a great defensive player, one article said he was one of the premeir defenders in the sec, and averaging 6.6 in the sec would probably translate to about 10 in the MWC.  Looks like he would be a good get if he picks UNLV.

Let’s just dream for a second because it is fun:

PG: Davis (SMU) or Jackie Johnson (Duquesne)

SG: Sherfield (UNR) or Gilbert (UNLV)

Forward: Harkless (Oklahoma) or Luis Rodriguez (Ole Miss)

Forward: Williams (UNLV) or Kyron Lindsey (4-Star)

Center: Diongue (5 Star) or Muoka (UNLV)
