I’m putting all my eggs into the Nevada basket today. I know the Pack have been a disappointment this season but I have this crazy feeling that we’re going to see the real Grant Sherfield in the tournament. 

I don't like the big spreads in the other two games.  Fresno is not exactly an offensive juggernaut. And while Utah State can score, I think Air Force can dumb games down tempo-wise to keep margins close. Unfortunately, I also dont think betting Air Force or Sparty to cover a big spread is a sound bet either.

 

UPDATE: Nevada-UNM was just pulled off of DraftKings. I wonder what’s going on.

Ended up buying AF to + 15.5.

Draftkings is shady. They wanted - 140 to buy a point in the Fresno game. They will jump a whole point instead of offering a half a lot as well.

Nevada line went to -6.5 and -115.

UNM isn't healthy going into this game. Two injured starters, Saquan Singleton is nursing a foot injury, and so is Jay Allen Tovar, questionable with an more severe looking ankle sprain, suffered against UNLV. He could barely put any weight on it when he was on the bench, That will put more pressure on Pitino, to rely on extended playing minutes from freshman Sabastian Forsling (still adjusting to the speed and strength of the D1 game), Walkon Senior Jordan Arroyo, who does play physical, but not considered a scoring threat, and seldom used Berma Seck, at the center position.

UNM will rely heavily on their guard tandem of House and Mashburn. Still, not enough scoring weapons coming from the bench. It will be hard to keep up with Nevada. Perhaps DraftKings found out about the injuries and is changing the line more in Nevada's favor?

I wouldn't bet on Nevada at this point. New Mexico has been playing well as of late, should be an interesting game.

Was just about to post the same thing. Pack looks like they’re m ore interested in returning to Reno right now.

they got the talent to hang w/ anybody in the league. UNLV would be so much better if they had Warren Washington or Baker. 

I'm thinkin there's gonna be an exodus in the offseason, Alford probably gonna smash that reset button
