I was 16 when Brady won his first super bowl. I’m 36 now. We will never see a career like this again. Hell, this season, he led the nfl in all major statistical categories. Sustained, unmatched greatness from year 2 (started as a backup as a rookie) to year 22. Never had a down year, never got “figured out,” never lost “it.”

There will be a next Tom Brady. I just doubt any of us will be alive to see it.

Everybody can think back to how old they were when Brady won his first Super Bowl, but thinking of my younger brother just makes his career seem unreal. When Tom Brady won his first Super Bowl my little bro was in kindergarten. Now he’s in his mid-20s, a college graduate, and a LJG in the Navy. That’s just absurd.

You don’t fvck this kind of thing up when it concerns a handful of the higher echelon professional athletes. Brady is obviously in that group.

Shame on espn

ESPN programming sucks! They'd be gone except for their live sports monopoly .

Once in a great while they get a cool talent like Mina Kimes.

So, what do you do with the rest of your life when you’re barely over 40, have a beautiful wife, and are worth millions?

You bang your beautiful wife and spend said money on things you like to do other than football… duh!

They’re leaving the story up and following it up with a bunch of farewell articles. If it was really a f*ck up wouldn’t they have taken it down by now?

It's Adam Schefter and ESPN, so it's best wait for the official statement from Tom Brady himself. That gang has jumped the gun before.

If Brady told him that but asked him to keep it confidential because he wanted to make the announcement himself and schefter went ahead with it anyway that’s really shitty. It’s equally shitty if his “source” isn’t Brady himself.

But I gotta think, if it really wasn’t true, there could be potential legal consequences. That it’s staying up leads me to believe it is, or it was until Brady got pissed that he’s not in control of the narrative anymore and he’s going to come back just to spite espn and schefter now.

Schefter was specific that his source wasn't Brady.

Whether the reports are accurate or not, you just know come summer there will be “Brady might be thinking about coming back stories” in our future.

It's amazing how unprepared people are for his retirement.
