Name: Goldpanner (from a game I play)

Teams: College -  Wyoming, Montana State University, Oregon State, and USC. (last two are sons alma maters)

Alma Mater:   BS 1985 Wyoming - Secondary Science Education in Chemistry and Geology.   MS 1992 Wyoming - Instructional Technology.  Adopted Montana State due to so many graduate level classes there but no degree :).  I am not writing another thesis.

Hometown: Shell, Wyoming. Population 50  Ha try to find that one on a map

Current home: Kailua Kona, Hawaii

Family: Married for 36 years with identical twin sons.  Sons are both electrical engineers with one working in robotics and the other in chip fabs.

Two Truths and a Lie: I totaled a Z28 camaro.   I can program in Fortran and Cobol.  I once thought about living in Utah.

Scariest Moment: 12 years old talking on a phone, (landline with a cord) when a gun went off.  Vase in front of me shattered and the the window next to me shattered.  Older brothers friend shot a gun off in the house.  Bullet came through a wall and hit a vase of water, head high, right in front of me. Water deflected the bullet and saved my butt.  Brother just said OMG don't tell mom and Dad and can you fix a window?  (various car wrecks were also not fun)

Name: SanDiegoPoke (from an AOL Instant Messenger Account in the late 1990's)

Teams: Wyoming, San Diego State (season ticket holder)

Alma Mater: BS 1986 Wyoming - Electrical Engineering, Computer Option (first year offered)

Hometown: Riverton, WY. Lived in Laramie exclusively the last 2 years of college. Worked in San Diego for 13.5 years out of college, and have been in Irvine, CA for 22 years.

Current home: Irvine, CA

Family: Married for 19 years. Adopted my nephew last year who is in 8th grade (14 years old). Lost my pooch right before Thanksgiving, but the nephew came with an 18 month-old Dachsund/Pomeranian/Yorkshire Terrier mix named "Snog."

Two Truths and a Lie: I have 3 patents. I had music, basketball, and academic scholarships offered out of high school. I am an identical twin.

Scariest Moment: I fell from my trellis 4 years ago and cracked my skull and had a severe concussion. I couldn't walk without a walker for 2 weeks. I went to the hospital because I dislocated my ring finger. If I hadn't gone, I likely would have died overnight.

Name - Michael AKA AztecAlien

Alma Maters - San Diego State Geography/Environmental Studies and Sciences. AIU- Education

Born In La Mesa California and grew up in East El Cajon when it was cool. Lots of orange groves, dairies, and open space. Went to Granite Hills HS. Lived in Alpine for 10 years before the population explosion. There was nothing in Rancho San Diego and Alpine. lived in Northern Utah for almost 20 years. 10 miles from Snowbird.

Became a Realtor and worked at Snowbird part time and got to ski for free.

Current Home - Star Valley WY

Married 35 Years - No Children

Two Truths And A Lie - I'm a pretty good fisherman. I'm an excellent skier and good at golf. I like shoveling snow, fighting bears and tuna casserole.

Scariest Moment In Life - I had heartburn for about a year and it didn't matter what I ate. The doctor treated it as acid reflux. After an endoscopy a year later, the doctor revealed I had a tumor the size of a half dollar in my esophagus that was pushing against the sphincter on the junction of my esophagus and stomach that was allowing stomach acid to get into my esophagus. It was black. The Dr. told my wife and I he has never seen a tumor in that spot before and we should start getting our stuff in order because he thought it was cancer. Had to have a specialist come in and remove the tumor because they did not want to damage the sphincter that stops acid from flowing into my esophagus from my stomach. If that got damaged during the surgery, I would have been screwed. Turned out the tumor was benign, but I have to have it checked once in a while. Pretty scary.

I like many genres of music except for blue grass. Sorry, I can only take BG for about 15 min. I do like outlaw country and upbeat country though. Don't like hardcore rap, but like hip hop. I really like reggae ska a lot. Slightly Stoopid, Stick Figure, Iration and similar sounding bands.

Pet Peeve - Stop naming your kids Michael!! There are 8 trillion Michaels already and it doesn't matter how you spell it.

It’s true. I eat one 1900-calorie meal per day, and I have to squeeze it into an hour. I dropped from 254 to 190 doing this.

Wrong. I have lived in exactly 3 places in my life: Pine Bluffs, Cheyenne, and Laramie. Pine Bluffs and Laramie are 90 miles apart.

I auditioned to be the PA announcer for Wyo basketball, but didn't get the job.
