If there’s one good thing that comes out of this is that I never have to hear “My body my choice” from the Democrats ever again.

I will say this, the deciding factor between intensity of illness and recovery rates is determined by personal health of the individual, vaxxed or unvaxxed.

100% true.  Would you also add the speed at which you start to receive medication once you show symptoms?

Apparently the numbers confirm that fat, out of shape people with health problems refuse to vaccinate and healthy people vaccinate. Otherwise, how could there be a factor of 10 difference in hospitalizations and a factor of 20 difference in deaths between unvaccinated and vaccinated?

That’s if you believe the numbers. There are sources in foreign countries that claim the opposite. And that’s a problem when reporting is more political to drive home a narrative than fact.

Omicron is attacking vaccinated people in large numbers which is why we are seeing huge spikes across the country right now.

Agreed. And the unvaccinated are heading to hospitals and dying at a higher rate than the vaccinated.

Thanks.  Here's the current Idaho data since May 15, 2021:

Fully vaccinated (per 100,000 people):

Cases: 3,010.4

Hospitalizations: 95.5

Deaths: 38.6

Not fully vaccinated (per 100,000 people):

Cases: 9,840.7

Hospitalizations: 443.5

Deaths: 159.5

So the raw data would seem to indicate that, for those who are not fully vaccinated, infection is 3.3x more likely, hospitalization is 4.6x more likely, and death is 4.1x more likely.

Vaxxed with booster decreases death rate even more significantly.

Immediately but stay away from remdisivir. Stay hydrated, it is key.  Being well hydrated helps to prevent the thickening of mucus in the lungs.

Much higher rate, and thus making less hospital beds available for people in need that aren’t ignorant.

What an ignorant post.

So should we not treat people for overdosing? What about diabetics who eat sweets and their glucose levels shoot up? What about people who speed, run red lights and cause accidents? What about people who have HIV because of their lifestyle or needle sharing? Are they taking up beds for people in need?

Your thought process on humanity is sickening and this goes for anyone else who thinks and feels this way.

Agreed. The other poster is yet another example of how vicious the next Civil War will be. There is such little compassion, empathy, or acceptance of people that make their own personal decisions

This amount of vitriol towards people is why the next Civil War is going to be one of the nastiest things ever seen in history. And if people don't think it can happen in the United States, they have never read a history book.

And rambling c*ntstains like you are a HUGE part of the reason why.

Only fools would find themselves still living in California, but I still feel bad for these season ticket holders. Hell, the vaccine and booster is only minimally effective against Omnicron.
