73-51 final at the T&M . UCLA just too good.

UCLA is well coached and the Rebels frenetic style doesn’t bother them. Plus they have guys that can actually shoot unlike UNLV.

In general, the MWC schools can recruit good athletes but they lack basketball skills. UNLV and Boise State are the prototypes. Or, they get guys that have basketball skills that aren’t good athletes. USU is the prototype. The P5 teams get good athletes with good basketball skills.

Santa Clara lost their second straight game.  First Fresno and now UC Irvine. The NorCal Broncos still have Hawaii, Boise and SJSU left in nonconference play.

USU had the best athlete in the MW in any sport the last three seasons, but okay.

And Justin Bean and Brandon Horvath aren’t exactly below the rim players. But okay.

I wonder where Amadou Sow, Miles Norris and Josh Pierre-Louis from UCSB would fit in that spectrum? They all seem like good athletes with good basketball skills, and we're not a p5 team :hmmm:

Solid win for the Aggies tonight.  Nothing flashy, but a solid 19 point win.  Play Carroll College on Monday and then a huge home matchup with St. Mary's on Thursday.  That game will be a battle, hopefully the Aggies can pull it out.

Very nice win for the Aggies
