The rest of the country was fighting a war. Where were the Cowboys when it mattered most? Hiding in a gym playing the Sisters of the Poor every week and claiming a "National Championship" during years where most respectable programs were shut down in order to send their MEN to fight for what was right.

Q: What happens when you play in a tiny gym against a school hungry for the recognition which can come from beating an FCS opponent? A: The refs allow you to shoot 4 free throws in the entire game and you lose by 1 point.

Wonder how much Cal Baptist paid SJSU to come to Riverside. My guess is it wasn't Tim Miles who scheduled it: https://sjsuspartans.com/news/2021/11/18/mens-basketball-san-jos-state-falls-late-to-california-baptist-67-66.aspx

The same amount CSUN paid Boise to come to Northridge? :shrug:

It's honestly shameless they even claim that Natty.

You do realize there is no FCS in NCAAB, right? While SDSU is strides ahead of SJSU and CBU in b-ball, all three are considered mid-majors.

@Rebels18@ph90702

So been gone for a while…too many socks and people not afraid to show off their low IQ’s.  FYI Ken Sailors, Milo Kominich and several others enlisted in the military, those two served overseas, Sailors in the Pacific…after their discharge both returned to play their last year of eligibility and Sailors was once again the POY.  As for the little sisters of the poor, they played Oklahoma, Texas and Georgetown to win the natty and then beat St John’s in the NIT…..proceeds went to the Red Cross.FYI.

Just a little history in case you might be interested.

It SUCKS to be a CSU Ram!

He’s only an assistant.  They had 20+ turnovers against college basketball superpower St. Louis.

'only' an asst? a HC can allow an asst to be as much or as little as they want them to be...Larry Brown is very active with in game coaching and practice.

I agree that it’s a very good hire, but he’s not in charge at the end of the day.
