Great game UNLV. You guys are definitely improving and will be pretty tough next year.

Also, Boise State's best chance next week is to call a ton of 7 step drop pass plays and not block for Bachmeier.

I figured the football team had a better chance of winning, and I was proven right.

If the correct call made is made, UNLV moves into SDSU territory with first down and a minute or so to go. Rogers was on a roll.

Bugger.

Still proud of the Rebels putting up a competitive game against a top ranked football team.

Good luck in your bid for a big bowl game Aztecs.

Back up QB's have torched us the year; Utah, AFA and now UNLV.

Weird

I tried to warn you fools. The MWC is not going to let a bottom dwelling team beat a division leader. Not good for the overall image of the league. Aka Utah St-Hawaii game. And you all laughed at me.

I'm not sure it was offside.  Watch it in slow motion and stop it at every frame.  He was lucky as hell by timing the snap perfectly and moved at the same time as the snap.  Call could have gone either way honestly.  Several bad calls in the game.

SDSU still the luckiest team in the nation and should have lost.  Outgained 394 to 290.  Couldn't even get 100 yards rushing for a "run-first" team against one of the worst teams in the country.  Really should be 6-5 right now at best.  Almost certain we lose to Boise.

OC is obviously horrendous but D coordinator is not good.  Rushed 3 or 4 all night long and never brought pressure despite a frosh QB and a backup QB.  And UNLV picked us apart.  Far cry from Rocky who would bring disguised pressure on every play or at least simulated pressure.  The new DC doesn't even run that despite rushing just three every damn play.  The last two games it's been a base defense every play with a 3-man rush.  He's looked good because we have a bunch of good players on D that have bailed him out.

Maybe we’re not one of the worst teams in the country, maybe we are one of the UN-luckiest. Our record might not be good,  but that’s 6 games with a one score loss, and bad calls at the end of the game. Win a few of those and maybe we’re even bowl eligible.

And it has been mentioned by Aztec fans, your team has been VERY lucky.

Just sayin..

If UNLV we’re able to have closed out some  close games, this team could very well be 8-3 right now considering 6 of those losses were by one score. Oh what could have been

Yards don't count.

POINTS count.

We had 8 more than UNLV.

Weirdly, we've had more points than the other team at the end of 10 of our games.

Not sure why you're so bothered by this.

Cheer up Foul,  maybe you'll be right next week.

Keep hope alive!

Maybe you missed your calling. With your obsessive focus on style points, you might make an excellent figure skating judge.

Did UNLV send a naked cheerleader to Aaron Taylor's hotel room last night? He couldn't stop knob slobbering UNLV the entire broadcast.

Didn't you spout a bunch of similiar drivel last week after beating Nevada ?

The Aztecs did what the Aztecs do. Win while failing to cover. Start betting the Aztecs not to cover and you will be a lot happier.

Well put.

The Aztecs certainly don't do well when it comes to style points. However, Ice Dancing Judging is probably what you're aiming for.

I for one am not surprised it was close. I called it in the first page of the thread. Aztecs would win but not cover. This game is sandwiched between two higher profile games for them.

Now, the Coaching staff has to figure out how to wake this team up at 4 am for a post Turkey Day kick. I am hoping they have arranged for a hotel near Carson instead of forcing these kids into a two hour bus ride in the dark.
