If you look at the CSU helmet logo’s they’re different depending on what helmet is used.

The logo was designed by our former wrestling coach.  The joke at the time behind the design was that the horse is kicking Moscow and shitting on Pocatello (home of ISU).

That same coach is famous for one other spectacular thing.  During a Boise State-Idaho football game, the vandal mascot was being a prick to the girl who was inside our mascot outfit.  Had the girl in tears.  He was chasing her around the stadium, hitting her with things.  She did not want to go back out.  Mike Young, one mean, bad ass wrestler with a collegiate record of 56-1 at BYU, not much out of his physical prime at the time, gets in and goes out there.  I am sure you can imagine what transpired next.  Joe Vandal did not have a very good time.
