Ayo man thank you. I’ve been waiting my whole life for professional football in Southern California. The bengals will be back. This will be part of the Joe burrow legend I’m sure. But for now I get to scream my head off and wear my rams gear all off-season and enjoy a championship. I’m delirious. Go rams!

That’s nice of you to say. I told the same lie to my poor 6 year old. He was practically dry heaving so bad I had to take him for a walk in the cold to tell him some truths about football and life, as well as a few lies. Drew Brees is an all timer who never got back to the Super Bowl, Aaron Rodgers still hasn’t, and those guys won. Kudos to Stafford, he’s earned it.

We’re all sitting in the dugout. Thinking we should pitch. How you gonna throw a shutout when all you do is bitch.

Losing sucks. I’m sorry. You and your son have this to bond over though. My son is too young still to really appreciate it. In ten years I’ll be telling him the story of how his mom had to take him home at halftime because he was being a little shit. Ill also have to remind him of all the years I watched the super bowl, playoffs,  and the entire nfl as a neutral fan with no real rooting interest. Losing, as much as it hurts, is better than that. At least you feel something. At least it matters. And fwiw, if, next year at this time, the bengals are back as I suspect they will be and the rams are nursing the hangover as I suspect they will be, I’ll be rooting for you, your boy, and your bengals.

Football is the best thing on earth. Nothing is lost if they’re still strapping it up. First college games are happening august 27. I can’t wait. I’m also stoned and drunk.

As talented as Joey B is, he won't last long in the league with a line like that.

I wonder why the SEC didn’t grab Kupp from the portal when he a had almost 2000 yds receiving as a freshman at E Washington. He looks like he is from the backwoods of Mississippi too.

He almost completed that last pass. I never liked the guy. But His performance in the college national title games was amazing. He hasn’t disappointed in the pros. Every time I see him though I think of the home alone movie.

If you’re Perine, you have to instinctively lay out for that last pass. Sure, it wasn’t a good one with Donald hanging all over Burrow, ready to take him down, but this is with everything on the line. I think the pass may have hit his hand, too. You gotta make a play.

It’s worse than I thought now that I’ve seen some of the stats. ESPN has what they call a Pass Block Win Rate, where if you can block your defender for 2.5 seconds that’s considered a win. The Bengals blockers individually won only 40% of the time. As a unit they won on only 18% of pass plays. And still the Bengals were 9 or 10 yards from putting their awesome kicker in position to send it to overtime. The line is where the Rams really killed them.

Don’t know that he would’ve left, his girlfriend (now wife) was bartending nights to support him.

And speaking of the sec, she gave up her own athletic career at Arkansas to move to Cheney and support him.

 Because there was no portal.

It gives me a headache just trying to think down to your level

despite being within a score of each other for most of the night, that was a dull football game. Maybe because this NFL post season and the College Football championship were soooo entertaining

I was expecting a great offensive performance last night, but it didn't happen. OBJ got hurt, Chase never seemed to get on track, Rams couldn't run the ball and the Bengals weren't much better.

It was all about chess on the lines. Not much for fireworks, but definitely not dull if you like that sort of thing.

The NFL salary cap and rules have basically made every team average at best to below average.  I like the competition it creates putting two completely shitbag teams in the SB as a result.  I mean the Lambs just won a ring by playing 2 better shitty games than the other team.

After the exciting playoff games this one didn’t measure up.

Probably two of the worst teams to play in a Super Bowl in a number of years. The Rams were star studded but lacked a good run game Oline and RB. The passing game was elite with Beckham in the game.

Burrows had terrible protection and most of the time didnt have enough time to go long. He did complete two long ones over Ramsey, although one was clearly offensive pass interference.

I doubt you will see either of these teams in the Super Bowl next year.
