I am consumed with doubt and fear over this rams-49ers game. We need to win to secure the division and #2 seed, but the niners have beaten us 5 times in a row. The last game in particular was checkmate from snap 1. The rams have been playing better, but the same issues - erratic play from Stafford, only one healthy/trustworthy running back, no answer for inside runs and quick passes that negate our speed on defense - still exist. Basically, lose this game, and you can forget about the super bowl. All of the nfc contenders follow the same formula. Win, and show that you have an answer for it, and I think you have to consider them co-favorites with Green Bay. Either way, I’ll be happy when this one is over.

If Stafford doesn’t give away the ball more than once the Rams win. He gave away two TDs against the Ravens, first a pick 6, then a fumble in the Ravens red zone.

I see the Rams pumped for this game to kick some Niner ass.

I want to believe, but every time I close my eyes I see Deebo Samuel clowning our entire D.

I don't blame you for being concerned, Stafford's INT numbers has LA sports radio buzzing this week.

The interceptions wouldn’t bother me so much if they weren’t just careless throws. He stared down his tight end Sunday and threw a pick-6 as a result. He also threw deep into triple-coverage when he had a WR underneath with no one within 20 yards of him for a first down and a huge gain. It’s like he thinks he can make any throw, even ones that literally no one on earth can.

To his credit, he went 14/14 in the second half and engineered a beautiful GW drive, but against playoff teams, if he throws the game away in the first half, he won’t have the chance to throw himself back into it in the second. The other top teams in the nfc are too good to let that happen.

What a game. And I really wanted it to end in a tie and send both of these teams, I can't stand Pittsburgh.

That 19 play two minute drill was particularly epic. Carr and Herbert were fighting tooth and nail.

We’re all sitting in the dugout. Thinking we should pitch. How you gonna throw a shutout when all you do is bitch.

I never heard about this until now..... Apparently the NFL used to base the 2013 lawsuit concussion payouts starting with the players race!? wow. There was a "cognitive scale".

It only makes sense.  On a couple of levels.  First of all, most NFL players are black, therefore a higher threshold of proof becomes the norm when you discount black players cognitive ability without a concussion.  That save a ton of money.  Secondly, the league has seriously taken on the social justice cause lately, now apparently as a smokescreen to hide their racist approach to previous issues.

It's disgusting, but it's the NFL and I am not shocked.
