Fresno State is ranked, bitches!

UCLA ahead of Fresno after the loss?

I guess the east coast interns filling out the ballots went to bed early and assumed what would happen.

Kind of like this guy who wrote in his rankings for this week:

13. UCLA Bruins

One of the big surprises of the early season, Chip Kelly’s Bruins have come up big this year and passed a couple of big tests already. They did it again in Week 3 and should be considered a real threat to take the Pac-12.

Uhmm, UCLA is now 2-1. :rotflmfao:

Only ranked at 25 after a respectable loss to Oregon who is now ranked #4 and we are still below UCLA who we beat and have a 4 game win streak against. That's just disrespectful.

Can’t disagree. But I’m just going to be happy that we’re ranked again. From looking at the publicly released AP ballots, we should slot in at 21-25 there as well barring some baffling decisions.

Well deserved. I don’t give a damn what the number is, if you’ve watched enough college football this season there’s nowhere near 25 teams better than Fresno. They can play with anybody, anytime, anywhere.

We’re all sitting in the dugout. Thinking we should pitch. How you gonna throw a shutout when all you do is bitch.

When you have AP voters like SJ Mercury's Jon Wilner not even voting for Fresno it holds the ranking down.

Has auburn at 15 because they had a close loss at #3 on the road, but Fresno isn't ranked at all when their only loss was a close one at #5 on the road?

That vote doesn't feel deserved. But a (hopefully) easy win next week vs UConn, plus a bye week after might help us jump teams in front of us who will drop a game in the next 2 weeks
