Big difference was Boise was getting their arse kicked the entire second half whereas the Rebels were mounting a nice fourth quarter come back.  If not for the two bad picks thrown by the UCF QB, Boise would have gotten rolled.  The Broncos couldn’t stop the run last night.

UCF 48 carries 255 yards. 5.3 average.

Oddly enough, the three UCF rushers each averaged 5.3 yards per carry. Individually and collectively.

But the thing is the TOP is all that really matters. Cincy has the clear path to the access bowl. UCF has a clear path to step in their place if Cincy messes up. And the Sun Belt also has a great shot to take the bid if the AAC is a mess in conference.

We honestly basically have no shot at the access bowl. BSU will drop at least one more game. So even if they win the conference at 11-2 I highly doubt that will be enough. BSU is always our best chance because of their reputation (ie they can climb the polls faster). Nevada is the "hot" team this year but they play no great teams in the OOC so they have no chance to pass the AAC/Sun Belt schools other than those schools losing. SJSU might be our best chance at this point. Their MW schedule sets up nicely BUT for them to be in play they need to upset USC this week.

We were moments away from dodging a disaster of a week completely, while dying laughing at the Pea6, to it all turning around. After all these years, this conference finds new ways to punch us in the gut.

And it ain't over yet. We could still get another FCS loss (CSU only -2.5 at home against South Dakota St) and go 0-4 against the PAC12 (Nevada is out best/only shot).

Yup. Checked my Phil Steele's just now and he has Boise with the #1 DL and the #2 LB corps in the conference. Lol! You'd think they were facing Bama, Clemson or Ohio State the way those guys got rolled. And although UCF's  #1 RB is a very good inside runner, his open field speed is just average so Okie State's offense will probably be a real handful for the Broncos too.
