UNLV FB Fall Camp

UNLV is going PAC-12 regardless, winning will just make it easier for their leadership to justify the move.

UNLV likely wins 10+ Football games while averaging 30,000+ this year and 20+ Wins  in Basketball while averaging 11,000+.  Fast fixes.

Of course they do. UNLV has won 10 games or more exactly one time in their 44 year history (11 wins in 1984) and has won more than 7 games three times in 44 years, but you're telling me that they're suddenly going to win 10 this year? Sure. You're an idiot.

Kansas offers nothing in terms of market size.  That’s why they could be left behind.

You do realize Kansas is part of the KC market, which is 7 spots higher than LV, right?

Doesn’t really matter.  Las Vegas offers way more.  Not only that Kansas City is below its peak population.

Don't get me wrong, I'd be extremely disappointed if Martell wasn't named the starter game 1 against ECU. Love or hate the kid, he's a national story and if he's successful here it will bring a lot more eyeballs to UNLV than if it's Rogers, Brumfield, or Friel.

Still, he already missed all of Spring Training--which isn't a big deal because he probably got superior 1-on-1 training w/ Coach Manny and Aumavae. But It's Day 2 out of 30 for Fall Camp--whatever is hanging up Martell from practicing them need to clean up and get him reps with the team NOW!

“A national story…” in which nation?

You know the staff and administration at UNLV are completely incompetent.  I am sure some worthless bum has the paperwork sitting on his desk and he is stalling on sending it to the proper people.  Those people who work at UNLV enjoy losing, they are used to it and are scared to be around winners because they might get exposed.

This all should have been done well before camp started but of course UNLV isn't in a hurry to do things the right way.

Won't matter.  Tate is superior athletically to any and all of those players on the field that we will be playing.

Tate Martell and Charles Williams in the back field will be unstoppable for anyone that we play this season.  If our defense can stop the other team even once or twice a game we should go undefeated.

How is anybody going to beat us with Tate and Charles Williams?  We don't even need to throw the ball but if we do, Tate has Kyle Williams (MWC Freshman of the year), Tyleek Collins (170 yards and four scores at San Jose State) along with Jordan Jakes (another guy who never lost in High School).

It is time for Rebel fans to get hyped and start telling people that UNLV is here.  NO MORE LOSING.

We should win every game this year!  I will be shocked if we lose.

PUT TATE IN NOW!

Bush League paper shuffling like that doesn’t happen at Land Grant schools…

Everyone knows Tate Martell man. Whether it be due to QB1, his highschool/gatorade player of the year career, or his dumb tweets. When he committed last week it was on the frontpage of ESPN.com and there was a blurb about it on PTI Pardon the Interruption on ESPN, hell even Colin Cowherd mentioned it. No other commitment at UNLV has ever even gotten close to as much national pub.

Point is, whether you love him or hate him the kid is a household name and UNLV will have more eyeballs with him as the starter than any of the other guys. If he turns out to be a really good QB, it's a developing story.

FIFY..."Everyone knows knew Tate Martell..."  Kid has averaged 7.25-attempts per-season since leaving Gorman.

"No other commitment at UNLV has ever even gotten close to as much national pub."  Due to the sample size, this means less-than-zero.

Not more eyeballs than this guy:

Man. Just looking at this picture...definitely not an all-airport team. I always take the pulse of UNLV football first by looking at how fringe a majority of the players look.

There’s 10 players visible in that pic. You do realize there’s more than 10 players on a Football team right?

Which is in Missouri.  Is this your veiled attempt at a Trumpism???

There are two KC's.......the larger one is in MO, the smaller right across the river in KS.............1/2 the overall KC metro area is on the KS side and almost reaches Lawrence where KU is located

There is only one KC, it just resides in two states.

Two separate cities with the same name - KC KS unified with Wyandotte County

https://www.wycokck.org/Home   https://www.wycokck.org/Government/About-WYCO-and-KCK

April 1, 1997:

Voters unanimously approved to consolidate the governments of the City of Kansas City, KS (the “City”) and Wyandotte County, KS (the “County”), into (1) jurisdiction; The Unified Government (UG) of Wyandotte County/Kansas City, KS effective October 1, 1997. The UG, with a 2010 County population of 163,831, covers 155.7 square miles.  KCK is located on the eastern border of the State of Kansas and situated at the confluence of the Missouri and Kansas rivers, we’re part of a greater metropolitan area of nearly 2 million people. The bistate region encompasses Kansas City, MO, and suburbs on both sides of the state line.
