Hahaha. He just crowed about how right he was and posted a tweet saying that the Big 10 was after AAU schools, and now he's pushing this. Haha. Like I said, dude was at the Mushroom Church all weekend.

But I have to admit, the sheer lack of time between contradictory posts is stunning.

Oh, Jesus Christ, Jalapeno have you suffered serious head trauma?

That is not going to happen.  It's fun to be in alternate reality for a few moments.

Really really really lame. You have UNLV in there over Boise, BYU and CSU? WTF is wrong with you? UNLV is shit in FB and BB and doesn’t come close to owning their own market. How could you get less than 20,000 people to a FB game in a city of over 2 million people?

Oh, it must be the “when UNLV gets in the B12, more fans will show up and they’ll play better. Well the same would happen to other MWC teams if they moved there. The last thing UNLV needs is tougher competition to ensure them last place finishes. They need to prove they don’t need training wheels in the MWC, first. Then if they start winning for a while, then they might be a candidate.

OSU won’t be around, that’s for sure. So going to 16, this would be nearly perfect.

West: SDSU, Nevada, Arizona St., Arizona, Fresno St, Boise St, BYU, Utah

Midwest: Iowa St, Kansas, Kansas St., Texas Tech, Baylor, TCU, CSU, Colorado

Those Pac-12 and Big 12 schools would defintely require any school to have tier 1 research status and VHRU ratings at a minimum.  But an exception could be made if it is obvious that a school could move into that terrority (SDSU is in and BSU wouldn't make the cut).  There's also the idea of having only one school in one state (CSU & BYU would be out in that situation).  In that case, UNM gets the final spot.

This is what happens when Fox and the Big 12 give Oklahoma like six 11 am ct games each year

Yeah...in 2019 they had 6 - 3 from Fox and 3 from ABC.  Last year, it was 4 - 2 for each network.

Lot of reasons for this move.  That aint one of them.

Texas said "lets go" and Oklahoma said "ok".

Big West has a spot open for SDSU if they want to drop Football.  I will notify Big-12/PAC-12 not to consider SDSU anymore because they are scared to play at the highest level in Football.  How can the city of San Diego compete with places like Manhattan Kansas in this new NIL ERA?  It isn't possible.

Y'all seem to think competing with Manhattan, Kansas is easy. Good luck with that.

I think a lot of fans are not seeing this for what it is.    It's a business.  It was always a business but because of the NCAA everyone sort of pretended it wasn't.

NCAA control is gone and the gloves are off.  It will now be run exactly as every business is run... I think unprofitable divisions will be dropped... meaning why keep fielding a football team if it's not profitable?

These days the reason for a university to offer sports is to attract students... branding.  Some universities may decide that the cost to carry sports isn't needed to attract students.

Here's an example... SDSU is/has been in the top 10 most applied to schools in the nation.  Will that change if they don't offer football or sports in general? Doubtful.

All one needs to look at is the enrollment at LBSU to confirm.  they don't have football and students still apply there in great numbers.

Am I wrong?  Could be.

We're building a $350,000,000 stadium.  Not playing football in not an option. It's set to open in 2022 against  conference foe The University of  Arizona. :cheer:

FYI - there are lots of hurdles and culture issues with a PAC12 add of OSU. I know those can be worked out, but its just reason 12 that I don't believe the PAC12 would look to add members.

Not an issue. Idaho is on the same list. Travel comes out of donations.
