MVC wants to strengthen their basketball conference which is why they are doing the moves they are inviting Belmont and Murray St. But maybe for travel purposes they didn't want to expand MVC into Texas at this time, but they are looking at trying to make their basketball conference better which I think it why Murray St won

They are modern TCU.  Not throw-back SWC types.  Cranial capacity, it's a wonderful gift.  Buy yourself a present and explore it.  Who knows, you may really like it.  Good luck.

Interesting thread on ACC putting CFP expansion talks to bed. ACC commish says he expects more realignment before the end of the current playoff agreement. So much for the Alliance?

Yes, stuck in the 70s - before I even knew TCU existed and they had one of the worst athletic programs in the country.  Again, sorry you feel correcting misinformation is a bad thing.

Maybe pac 12 is looking to add any schools since the media deal is about to expire. Could see TCU, Houston, Okie State, and Texas Tech

If he is mentioning realignment he must think the B1G is gonna try their best to grab Georgia Tech and another AAC school. Or, they (ACC) are looking at West Virginia and another school.

There has been a reason why West Virginia hasn't been in ACC talks before and that is mostly because of their education standing. I don't know if Duke, N. Carolina and some others there would let them in. Now Big 10 has been looking at schools off and on as well, Kansas being one of them. Pac-12 has also kicked the tires on a few of the Big 12 schools, but to me if any of the bigs move I am thinking it would be Big 10 first

IMO, P5 expansion will not look West (for a number of reasons). That’s what we are seeing; and that’s what we will continue to see.

If there is more expansion in the Big 12, it will be Memphis and USF. That would put the AAC at 12.

At that point, if the AAC expands I believe Texas State will get the nod; with a 14th from a group that includes Arkansas State, Colorado State, Air Force, and Georgia State.

Why would Colorado state/Air Force join a watered down version of the AAC when they already rejected them a few months ago? I think it would rather be SMU or Tulsa/Rice heading west tbh. And I think something like that would push our AD to start conversations with the Mountain West again

You misunderstood me. I doubt the AAC will go to Colorado. If they need a 14th school then they will probably look at a lot of schools.

Air Force leaders were quoted explaining why they contacted the AAC. One of their grievances with the MWC was Thompson and no Texas presence.

Subsequently, the AAC expanded and plucked 3 Texas schools.

I highly doubt the MWC will poach the AAC now. Was it possible at one point? We will never know.

If Tulsa and the SWC schools (SMU/Rice) wanted MWC membership, it’s my belief they’d already be there. I don’t see anyone leaving ESPN and their neighbors to take a Fox-CBS deal in a far flung Western conference.

Ok well I still don't see why the Colorado schools will join a weaker conference. Just because you have multiple teams in Texas doesn't mean you're conference is gonna benefit from that lol. If they wanted to join they've would've already been part of the AAC. The AAC is dead bro just drop it

I never said they’d join the Sunbelt (which is where my school is from). I’m just saying what the Air Force officials commented on in regards to the AAC. They liked ESPN as well.

And anybody with a shred of knowledge knows it wouldnt be Georgia Tech.  All the ACC teams are off the market until 2036.  The Big 10 went fishing in those waters years ago but could only land Maryland.  And when the ACC got their network, it became a moot point for the forseeable future.
