Conference Realignment thread

I don't. They are easily better than any G5 conference in football. They are also arguably better than the PAC, and may turn out to be better than the ACC if Clemson falls back to the pack. Kenpom crunched the numbers and found that they will also still be the best conference in basketball.

This is not the dysfunctional Big East, which was getting raided every other week and had a schism between the football schools and the basketball schools. The Big 12 is stable enough to maintain their power conference status, IMO, and revoking it would open a can of worms that the PAC and ACC shouldn't want to be opened.

You are not subscribing to the message board narrative here.  How dare you.

The AAC isn't reaching out to anyone.

They are only dealing with teams that reach out to them. (the pool of those teams is big enough that they don't have to recruit)

Everyone they're talking to called them.

C'mon, Stunner. Put the lure back in your tackle box before you hurt yourself.

So the conference that is scrambling to replace members, and got turned down by their primary targets, is somehow more stable than a conference who doesn't need to replace the dead weight the AAC might take?

Okay.

This is not how things are happening.  Your head is in the sand.

We know for a fact this is BS.  The AAC went on their knees to Boise (for the third time) and SDSU (for the second time) and we told you to get +++++ed

Lol Boise has told you guys thanks but no thanks twice now in less than 10 months...

Lose our number already, we are not in the mood to save the AAC from their soon to be 3 mil a year T.V. contract...

Yep. Head in the sand syndrome runs abound.

Nobody wanted to believe Air Force and Colorado State were leaving until McMurphy said it... and some are still in denial. The theories going around in here are something else.

It's well known that Aresco is only fielding calls. He's not spamming anyone for invites. The AAC may even stay at 10. Who knows... This is just business and these men are professionals

Uhm, McMurphy that same guy has also corroborated what the SI guy reported,  that the AAC was the one to reach out to Boise and SDSU and we laughed our asses off.

Your top two targets wanted nothing to do with the AAC, so you were forced to take one of the worst football and one of the worst basketball programs in the country.

Your head might be somewhere a bit darker than in the sand.

No.  Just no.  It is not legal for them to contact schools under contract.  What’s more likely- that you’re a dumbass that has no idea what’s going on or a conference would risk illegal activity to poach a MW school?

Yes I am sure Nolander and McMurphy are wrong when they reported and then corroborated that we to quote "balked" at your advances and it is you two mouth breathers that are right.

National media is running wit the story that Boise and SDSU laughed our asses off at the AAC offer.  That has gotta hurt.

McMurphy.  Lol.  His reputation speaks for itself.  Just follow his career path and you’ll see yourself out.

His reputation is as good as it gets in the business wtf are you talking about.  Nolander is highly respected as well.

Both said the same thing.  Boise and SDSU told the AAC to +++++ off.
