Gloria is getting full court blitzed by NDSU and their Media and Socials and NDSU fanbase this week with this ESPN 2 game

if the Mountain West doesn't invite NDSU all sports ALONE and travel partner them with AIr Force (Denver Airport 1 hour) and Fargo to DIA daily)

then you're obviously scared then...

Would be nice, Mountain West will be a garbage football conference in a couple years, probably will be out ranked by the Missouri Valley Conference

Inviting NDSU is a no-brainer to me. Strong football program, a decent basketball program. Same with SDSU but perhaps inversed.

It would be malpractice to not take a serious look at both

I agree since it seems the MWC now only has interest in the CTZ, NDSU, SDSU and maybe also NIU as Football only would be a solid Eastern wing and could garuntee 1 or 2 CTZ games every week.

Niu, Toledo, Louisiana would strengthen our football rankings as a conference

Louisiana and NIU would be excellent adds. Toledo not so much.

Wow, that is a win for Hawaii.  I wasn't expecting that.  I guess if there was going to be future invites after Hawaii joined full time, that question would have come up for the new schools.

That's the MW's problem and not the ours. Welcome to the PAC.

Toledo has like 17(?) winning seasons in a row.  The MWC needs football credibility.

Could get that with NDSU and SDSU as Football only in the CTZ without having to go to Ohio.

Louisiana could fill a Bosie void because they're constantly good, they're also great at basketball

NIU for Colorado State or Fresno in the sense that they have a decent program for football,  isn't afraid to move around the country for 💰 games.  Etc.

Toledo can become a brand especially if they can win games scheduled against neighboring programs. Imagine a MW Toledo vs Rutgers with Toledo taking the win....

Right now our strongest program is what UNLV then after that who do we expect to rise in the MW Wyoming? New Mexico?  I dunno

not sure how this fella thinks all of this works.

It seems to me that the basic steps are:

1. Work to grow the NDSU fanbase/market.

2. Work to grow the TV interest/demand for NDSU

3. Work on the stuff that NDSU can control:

  - Size of NDSU Athletics Budget

  - Size of NDSU Endowment

  - Communicate those things to the MWC.

It seems like those things will get you further than begging on a MWC fan forum.

Let's pretend MWC invites NIU and Toledo (and doesn't invite NDSU and SDSU).

Now NDSU and SDSU still have a way into D1--via the MAC--you can lobby to replace them.  Your biggest competition might be Western Kentucky. (And they might take all of you)

Bigger question is who is the PAC going to add to get to 8?  Who left out there moves the needle?  No one.  At least no one that will make them a P4.

Memphis, Tulane, and UTSA will join as soon as the PAC finishes its media rights analysis with its partners…expected in early January.

Though, the brass ring is still USF and UCONN who MAY still join, but only if the three listed above join first.

And none of those move the needle to push them to an AQ status.   It will be a real good non-AQ conference though.

This is what you have heard from Tulane's, Memphis' and UTSA's  AD??? Damn I wish I were well connected like you.

But seriously,  I thought i read somewhere that they all signed a binding Letter of agreement,  or Understanding or something like that.  Maybe it isn't binding, I tried looking before but couldn't find it anymore.
