lol. After the American people put Kamala's toes to the fire and she was getting deserved criticism for her silence on the border crisis. lol. Poll numbers were bad enough for her to utter her weak-as statement

In other words, NVGiant was right.  Kamala said the same thing.

No. Not remotely the same. A swift statement was issued on Cuba and after months and months of immigrants pouring into the country at the southern border and after intense criticism she issued a statement about that. So, no. wrong, as usual from you and him (assuming NVgiant is a male, but you never know).

Statements were same, thought the identical words were not.  Got it.  Nice thread Bob.  If i read it correctly, you are agreeing with Kamala's message at the border.

So to sum up: The administration is doing the right thing here by saying the same thing they said last month about a different group of people? Which, would've been the right thing, if the timing and tone was more to the liking of a certain subgroup. But because it wasn't the right tone or timing, Dems are all for open borders, except in the cases when they're not. Like this case. And the other case. Which makes them hypocrites. And that may or may not be problematic in this case because some Cubans might vote for a Republican, which may or may not make this statement the wrong thing. Or the right thing. Also, anyone who doesn't follow this line of thinking may or may not have a gender.

I think we have all seen enough hypocrisy on this issue to last a lifetime. I've said before and I'll say it again, George W. is the only major national politician in my lifetime that has approached the immigration issue with anything approaching common sense. He is also one who never demagogued the issue itself.

bob, you ever get that 'how is america racist when black people from other countries want to come here?' thread sorted out?  or was it one of those "i'm not really asking i'm just trying to make a point with shallow questions" threads?

Lol. After Biden welcomed immigrants in his campaign speeches, opened the gates by repealing Trumps controls via EO, he and Kamala realized the mess they created and then tried to backtrack after they let the horse out of the barn. Even as we speak the country is being flooded with illegals. The dolt and ho in the White House have no clue.

If the Cubans were smart they would go by boat to Mexico and easily cross our southern border.

The original intention of so-called "sanctuary cities" wasn't to foster open borders. They started in the 80s and early 90s with the thought that if local police are aggressive in enforcing federal immigration policies, an undocumented person would be less likely to cooperate with police for fear of deportation should they be a witness to or are a victim of a crime. Don't ask, don't tell, more or less. We can argue about the effectiveness of those policies, but it has certainly been mischaracterized. Such is politics. Though, admittedly, the intention of these policies shifted, too. Also, such as politics today.

Bob, the wall in the Yuma AZ sector has been complete for 5 months. Guess what? It hasn’t prevented shit!! Last weekend the Yuma Sector Border Patrol apprehended 1800 migrants. Since January, the Yuma and El Centro Sectors have apprehended over 80,000. That tells you two things if you’re smart enough to listen.

1. Walls don’t work

And

2. BP is doing their damn job by apprehending these people.

No one is just “coming” in.

Since it is estimated there are 11,000,000 to 20,000,000 illegals in the country the border patrol has let more than a few slip by.

No city in Arizona is a "sanctuary city," at least according to this. No city in Texas either. Looks like the Northwest (including liberal bastions like Malheur, Union, and Baker counties in Oregon) has lots of them, and this region is hardly a hot bed of illegal immigration, at least relative to Arizona and Texas.
