Judge Allows Civil Suit Plaintiffs To Review/Audit Fulton County Georgia Absentee Ballots

Recommended Posts

The audit madness is spreading and they won't be happy until they find something, anything, to confirm their beliefs.

The plaintiffs asked to take possession of the ballots and transport them to a private company for scanning and review. The judge refused that request saying it was against federal and state law. Instead the plaintiffs will pay Fulton County to do high-res scans of the absentee ballots that they can review.

The civil suit plaintiffs told media after the ruling:

"“We’ve had three — what we feel like are illegitimate-- attempts to determine what the election results are and I think we’ll actually, this time, find out for sure what’s right,” said Garland Favorito, an election watchdog and one of the plaintiffs in the case."

“What this case is, is about equal protection and all the voters’ rights in Georgia, because if counterfeit ballots were introduced into the count, they diluted the votes,” Favorito said."

Oh boy. Another circus.

They want to scan these ballots. Maricopa County's ballots are also being scanned.

I'm beginning to wonder if this is also some giant data gathering scheme for analysis then use in future election campaigns. It will generate a large data set at the individual ballot level.

Could be. I’ve found that assuming the ridiculously egregious thing is a pretty safe bet.

If the count is accurate the Dems have nothing to worry about.

When the count is proved accurate Trump will attack all of the Republicans involved in recounts as RINOs. The GOP big tent may rip apart.

What is the GQP afraid of with their refusal to allow a bipartisan investigation/commission into the 1/6 attempted insurrection?

Its probably a waste of time and money, but at least in this case they are not involving the voting machines, so the cost will be significantly lower than the shit show in Arizona.

And if they find a way to improve the process, so much the better. Bad timing that it is happening as most state legislatures are winding up business though.

What is Cyber Ninjas and the GQP afraid of?

Patrick Byrne's "Fund the Audit" group sent an email out to recruit more people to work the Maricopa "audit".

The email only went out to about two dozen Arizona GOP party officials. It did not go to any Democrats, third party, or non-partisan officials.

It appears they only want to recruit their own people to work on the audit instead of running a non-partisan or bi-partisan audit.

Sounds like the GOP and Cyber Ninjas are hiding something.

From the dictionary: "accurate: (of information, measurements, statistics, etc.) correct in all details; exact"

Question #1: What result is most likely from these audits?

Answer #1: That because of the size of the election, not a single one will ever be "correct in all details."

Question #2: What will be the result of the finding of imperfections?

Answer #2: Donald Trump screaming "COVER-UP!" and dozens, perhaps hundreds, of Republican politicians creating a shitstorm of agreement with him.

Question #3: Will Mr. Grumpy EVER leave the political scene so Republicans and Democrats in Congress can get back to some semblance of cooperation?

Answer #3: The way things appear today, not until Trump is either dead or in prison.

If they find even a single little thing, it won't be "We found a few things but not enough to change the results".

Instead it will be "There must be more where that came from. We need to do still another audit to find the rest."

Maybe audits will spread. Next up will be an audit of the Super Bowl. No way did Tampa Bay legitimately score all of those points. Somebody must have hacked the scoreboard. Maybe the officials were zombified using bamboo to help the Bucs. Maybe it was China or Russia messing with our country. :fishing:

There is also the possibility that a significant number of irregularities are found to question the final results. Mueller spent 2.5 years investigating Trump, this audit pales by comparison. Odds are this won’t yield anything more than the Mueller investigation did other than some that may have submitted fraudulent votes could be in trouble. Personally I hope they find no significant issues so the whole fraud thing can be laid to rest.
