Hawaii put up 42 on an 8 win Purdue team, 32 on a 10 win Oregon State team and 41 on a 7 win Arizona State team. They also put up 34 on Boise State who won the Fiesta Bowl that year, and 41 and 54 respectively on Nevada and SJSU who were also bowl teams with p5 wins that year. They were running up basketball scores against the dregs of the conference. That offense was great, no matter how you shake it. And Colt was the engine of it.

The 2006 team was better than the 2007 team. They just had a tougher schedule.

That's great for 2006 but I was talking about 2007.  You know teams like Louisiana Tech, Northern Colorado, and powerhouse Charleston Southern.

Mmm. I wonder why some folks are posting his numbers then? I have nothing against Colt and he was a good QB. Hawaii just had no business being in the Sugar Bowl that year.

The 2006 team had Nate Iloa, one of my all time favorite WAC players, and more pieces on defense.

I had theater class with Nate at UH.  Small class so we interacted. Used to see Colt at the clubs in the off season, standing on the side, totally approachable, when I would go back home to visit family.

RIP Colt

It's just too bad Jones didn't stick around. Hawaii has never done anything since. Multiple coaches.  June pretty much faded too after that run. I think he had 3-4 more good seasons in him.

Jesus, that's awful. That dude was a monster in 2006 and 2007.

I still haven't gotten over this game.

I was at that game and my best friend bet this trash talking Indian guy in the stands, think he was a SJSU student or grad, when the Spartans were up.  We bet that Hawaii would come back.  When we called him to collect, the guy didn’t pick up, so we called him many, many times.  We never got ahold of him.

Sad to hear this.   A life lost too young.

I remember cheering on Hawaii's magical 2007 season, when they earned a trip to the Sugar Bowl.

He was fun to watch.

Your trolling is getting old. You're like a washed up baseball player trying to relive the glory days. Give it a rest.

You can Fvck off pal.  I guess it's only proper if you post positive numbers.  To say that Hawaii team was overrated isn't trolling.

Again, fvck off.

Yes, 2006 was the year I was talking about when you aid the schedule was soft. I said, people always talk about 2007 but here are some numbers to show how great the 2006 team was.

Planning is an exercise of power, and in a modern state much real power is suffused with boredom. The agents of planning are usually boring; the planning process is boring; the implementation of plans is always boring. In a democracy boredom works for bureaucracies and corporations as smell works for skunk. It keeps danger away. Power does not have to be exercised behind the scenes. It can be open. The audience is asleep. The modern world is forged amidst our inattention.

That schedule was super soft, so those bloated numbers look good. Hawaii was embarrassed in the Sugar Bowl and exposed.

Eat shit you mother+++++ing ++++++. Hawaii beat your MWC finest during that period. Once an idiot, always an idiot.
