Boise State 2022 Recruiting

Houser would be a great get.

There are two crystal ball picks from dudes who have 95% correct choice rates.  So looks like that is who the commit is.

247 has him rated as the #13 QB in the class.  Offers from half of the PAC -12 as well as Yale and some others. Could jump up to a 4* given California is still playing HS football this spring.

I watched a lot of his film, I wasn’t really impressed. His longer throws were routinely high and wide, he doesn’t have a strong arm and his mechanics aren’t  perfect, but that’s easily fixable. I see this guy as bench depth, but that’s fine.

Looks pretty solid mechanically to me. Overthrows a kid 10 seconds in, but the second half of this shows really impressive footwork and arm strength from a so/jr in HS.

I was specifically talking about his Hudl film. But if he joins the team, I will be cheering for him like crazy.

He's only started 3 games, so give it time for the highlights to improve.  He's also splitting time (but getting more reps) with a 4* sophomore.

What a ridiculous team St. John Bosco has become...they've got more 4* players on their team than the entire MW has on it's rosters.

Maybe my age is showing but frankly I just don't get all excited about a verbal commit anymore.  In this day and age a Verbal Commitment from a H.S. football player is worth about $1.  Meaning it's nice that he has verbally committed to Boise State BUT until he signs on the dotted line in December I won't get too excited.

He's free to change his mind all the way until the February 2022 signing period.   So it's difficult for me to get too excited about this.  If he does indeed sign with Boise State in December (or Feb. 2022).............GREAT...................until then I will remain unmoved.

If Bachmeier can pull this off, it would be incredible. Not sure what's going on with Junior Adams at Washington, but his players are leaving in droves, (5 WRs in portal since December).

Spiker was a 4* in the class of 2018 (#59 overall player in the country) but struggled with injuries in 2019/2020 and didn't play much for the Huskies.  He would have 3 years eligibility remaining.  That "Spank" reference Dave speaks about is also on Marquis Spiker's twitter profile.

I just don't understand why people come to the recruiting board just to talk about how they don't follow recruiting. The reality is that close to 90% of these kids that commit end up signing. There is two or three that decommit every year in a 20+ class, so we shouldn't be exicted about a kid who with historically 90% accuracy is certain to sign with Boise?

And spoiler alert, signing on the dotted line means nothing as well. Kids have signed multiple times and never showed up on campus. So you shouldn't be excited then either. Plus, they can transfer whenever they want if they do show up. So don't be excited then either. You should just bah-humbug their entire career until they've graduated and then be excited.

What film did you watch?  Clearly not his HUDL.  He mad on the run off balance throws on a rope, demonstrating better arm strength than Rypien or Bach.  His mechanics are more than ok.  Plus athlete.  Half the Pac 12 offered him and he is expected to be a 4 star during the next eval from 24/7.

I did watch his Hudl tape. Watch it again objectively, virtually every single one of us passes that were farther than 10 yards were high and wide. He’s OK, remember every single team in the country has five or six quarterbacks on scholarship, they are a dime a dozen. If he signs with the team, I will cheer for. I just have a different opinion. No big deal.

Objectively, no you are wrong.  Not even close.  He was throwing it on a rope to the sidelines on the run.  WTF are you even talking about?

You are kind of an idiot, no big deal.  You are, objectively, really +++++ing stupid.

You convinced me a VERY long time ago that you "just don't understand".  That's a given at this point.  No need for you to continue to remind people of that.  That was the primary reason why you were one of the first people here who were added to my IGNORED USERS list here.  I only happened to see this latest example of your "wisdom" here because I had not yet signed in.   I'll let you get back to putting your ignorance and VERY small-mindedness on display for everyone else.  TA-TA

All HS highlite films look good to me so I suck as a judge but I do know that Plough thinks the guy can make all the throws right now.  All of them,  soft touch drop passes over coverage, slants across the hash's, deep rockets, etc.   All the passes needed.   Will he pan out?  Most don't.    But Oregon State is pissed they lost him so there are some guys with a ton more expertise than me that think he's got a good shot.    And he is already recruiting for Boise State on social media.

Also, talk of camp is about the freshman who came in January from Texas;  another QB in the pool that has a shot.

Lastly any recruit from Bosco is connection to one of the best programs in the west.

Why are you so angry all of the time? You get so worked up over trivial matters.

Not worked up at all.  You are, really, really dumb though.  When you are one of the top 3 dumbest posters on Bronco Country, it says something.

You have a lot of anger, a lot. Why do you think it's acceptable to talk that way? Who broke you?

Spy, your mother was a slut who never loved you.

Take your shit opinions back to BC, the board you helped destroy.
