To me it sees like using the skin of Beanie Babies to upholster an Audi. Different strokes and all that I suppose... Omega gets an Infinity Pass on their Snoopy Speedmaster for all the obvious reasons - it commemorated the Snoopy Award awarded to the crew of Apollo 13, who watch wore a Spedmaster during that manned space mission. By comparison, this seems kitchy and gimmicky... I do like the incorporation of the Mario Kart elements in the second chronograph far better than the first tho (except for "MARIOKART" being etched on the tacky, er, tachy). Slapped a silicone strap on it, and I wear it probably more than any other watch. After a recent acquisition, I reorganized boxes and now have a glaring empty space in my dresser valet reserved for a beater. I might end up keeping it, though I'm accustomed to slapping on an automatic first thing in the morning just to give it a little wrist time to wind the movement. Looking forward to receiving it on Saturday either way.

Slapped a silicone strap on it, and I wear it probably more than any other watch. So this is a lot of watch for $34 (now back up to $49 on Amazon). It has become, befittingly, my analog G-Shock. I was surprised to see a sunburst dial (let alone a decently-inky black one) - a nice touch that is unexpected at this price range, just as with the applied indices or 120-click bezel, which has shit action btw, but hey - $34. The lume is shit as well, but again - $34. And IMO the strap isn't that bad... it's not that good, either, but tbh it's no less comfortable than the non-premium Uncle Seiko straps I've bought, and it's more comfortable than the OEM rubber strap on the Promaster by a country mile. Seiko's Prospex OEM straps are lightyears better than this, but $34 vs. $350, so... I have a bad habit of eventually wanting to preserve almost any automatic I buy, so what are acquired as beaters eventually end up enshrined as box queens. And until I get the stem fixed on my big, honkin' bronze Makara Sea Turtle (one of the exceptions to the above 'rule'), this watch is now what lives in my dresser valet as my beater. Friend's son and extended family in India be damned. I can see why yours spends so much time on your wrist.
Stealthlobo
I actually ended up enjoying the bb58 on bracelet more than on NATO while diving.

NMpackalum
I only thought I was done with new watches. I saw this Seiko GMT on ebay for 30 percent off. It looks even better IRL. Mirrored lower bezel finish so it looks 2 tone in certain light. .

Ever since my OG Mako gave up the ghost I've missed having an orange dial tool watch. A local AD who carries some high-end Swiss lines as well told me that Seiko guys were their own... I don't remember what exactly he said, but I can totally appreciate the loyal following Seiko watches have and why their fanboys are legion. Depends on your collection. If you want to spice it up a bit, go with the green dial. If ur looking for a sporty daily wearer, go with the black dial. Also I recommend stopping by ur local breitling boutique and trying them on while taking g wrist shots. The stock pics never are completely accurate.

The SuperOcean is a classic. Black dial FTW. IMO bronze - especially nautical bronze - belongs on mongo tool watches, as unless you really want to wear it as a beater, over time the patination will most likely relegate it - aesthetically - to beater status. Speaking of aesthetics, you'll find the SS/balck dial to be more versatile, - it will be at home with anything from a t-shirt and baggies to boardroom attire, whereas the green dial will as often as not make war with whatever else you're wearing. Unless you're a leprechaun of course, which given your height you most certainly are not.

Heh, well it's a bit more expensive than the moonswatch and I want to make sure I get the right version when I pull the trigger *cough* snoopy *cough* To be honest though, I'm trying to decide between a white dial special addition speedmaster OR save and get a legit 'normal' speedmaster AND the white dial Zenith Sport chronomaster.

They didn’t have the 42 in stock, otherwise I would’ve pulled the trigger. Love the rubber strap with the metal clasp.
