C'mon now.  You know that green lasts a couple months tops, and that smoke in that photo can linger for a month.  Gotta get into the hills to have a scenic summer.

Yeah, no smoke in wine country.  Ted Cruz says LMAO at California.

@happycamper your google fu is weaker than I would expect during this debate.  Did not even think to look up where the actual cell towers were, never thought to look up cell towers and line of sight over different topography and could not even google biodiversity by state.

@Joe from WY can be forgiven his ignorant and incorrect (laughably so) takes as he shoots from the hip.  But you?  For shame.

I don't care about that boring shit this is the only fishing expedition I care about and I'm way over my limit. The only thing I need to prove is the insecurity of the Idaho wilderness expert and in that I am GOD

Remember that every argument you have with someone on MWCboard is actually the continuation of a different argument they had with someone else also on MWCboard.

when megafauna are re-introduced it will be hilarious when all the idaho ones die in like 3 days from starvation

I am not going to argue the either/or y'all are going with.  Just a comment on that photo.  I live in that region.  And there are some wine areas there too.  I am sure it "gives the grapes this nice, subtle texture (or some other bullshit the wineries throw at their customers)"

Your argument falls apart right there.  In shambles.

You linked a vague blurb off an NPS website. I looked. So again. Tell me more about these pollutant filled operations going on up there.

If you have an issue with how the NPS identifies the pollutants that cause the poor air quality in the Redwoods take it up with them.

Sorry not going to buy your "you do not know the area" line after you just got your pants taken off with your insane takes about those two California wilderness areas being more in one case and just as in another as anything in Idaho.

Every wilderness blog and website says you were talking at out ass, while also trying to pretend to be an authority.

WTF are you talking about?  Wyoming has 22 species of fish.  Idaho has over 80.

It was. I will end it by saying that what we individually consider "remote" is going to be shaped by our own experiences and perceptions. While i do agree that much of California isnt as "remote" as Idaho, there are still areas that are in that league. Even someplace like Big Sur which still to this day is rendered cut off from the world fpr months at a time because the road falls into the ocean periodically.

That said we all have our own subjective definitions of the term so I dont know that we'll ever be in full agreement as to what "most remote" is. It means different things to different people.

I love you homie.  Would be my honest pleasure to take you on a wolf watching/shroom eating trip in a high mountain Idaho meadow.

But +++++ Mordor.
