YurView Las Vegas will televise Wednesday's UNLV men's basketball's season-opening game vs. Montana State live on Cox Channel 14 and 1014HD in Las Vegas. Tipoff is scheduled for 6:30 p.m. with Matt Neverett and Steve Cofield calling the action. 

The game will also be available on the internet via a free stream linked at UNLVRebels.com  TheMW.com/watch  WatchStadium.com

The all-time series is tied 1-1 with Montana State winning 89-71 in Las Vegas in 1965 and UNLV winning 76-65, also in Las Vegas in 2007

UNLV is 70-23 all-time against teams that currently make up the Big Sky Conference

The first episode of the T.J. Otzelberger Radio Show will air on ESPN Radio 1100 AM in Las Vegas from 6-7 p.m. on Tuesday, November 24. The show may also be heard online through TuneIn. Questions to be asked on air may be Tweeted to @UNLVonTheRadio. All shows are archived on LVSportsNetwork.com.

UNLV is 49-13 all-time in season lid-lifters and is 41-7 when opening the season at home

The Runnin’ Rebels are 26-3 in season openers at the Thomas & Mack Center

UNLV has won 13 of its last 15 season openers overall

UNLV will have an entirely new look this year as 10 of its 13 scholarship players have yet to play in a game for the Runnin’ Rebels - Of the nine newcomers added to this year’s roster, seven are freshmen

UNLV has converted at least one 3-pointer in all 1,102 games played. With Vanderbilt failing to make one in a game last season, UNLV and Princeton are the only schools left that have made at least one 3-pointer in every game played since the shot was introduced

UNLV has finished the season with a winning percentage above .500, 57 times in its 62-year history

Should be the season UNLV turns the corner, had enough of mediocre basketball of the last 5-6 seasons now. 
 

I’m interested to see how this team gels this season as Otz continues implementing his plan for success. Go Rebs!
