The Republican Party isn't going anywhere.

75 million people voted for Donald Trump. 75 MILLION people!!!

It might take more than 100 years to erase this stain.

True, but 81 million people voted against them

The ex-communications and shunnings have begun. Apparently, they weren't extreme enough for the Clerics.

That’s cringeworthy. Oof. I’d never heard of this bro until a couple days ago. Between him and Matt Gaetz, how much money do you think these guys spend on hair gel?

Remember a couple years ago the right-wingers on here celebrating the right’s diversity of thought while portraying the left as some sort of monolith? Those were good times.

That was a great power point on entitlement spending!

Planning is an exercise of power, and in a modern state much real power is suffused with boredom. The agents of planning are usually boring; the planning process is boring; the implementation of plans is always boring. In a democracy boredom works for bureaucracies and corporations as smell works for skunk. It keeps danger away. Power does not have to be exercised behind the scenes. It can be open. The audience is asleep. The modern world is forged amidst our inattention.

The party censured Ducey over his decision to impose emergency rules during the pandemic that the GOP said "restrict personal liberties and force compliance to unconstitutional edicts."

McCain, who endorsed President Joe Biden, "has supported globalist policies and candidates" and "condemned President Trump for his criticism of her husband and erroneously placed behaviors over actual presidential results."

Flake has "condemned the Republican Party, rejected populism, and rejected the interests of the American people over globalist interests." The party suggested Flake join the Democrats.

Good Lord.

He's a frat boy wannabe neo Nazi who hasn't accomplished anything in his life. He has also claimed to have been accepted to the Naval Academy, when he was actually rejected, but now says that it was because of his accident.

The voters in Western NC should be ashamed for having elected him to Congress.

Watched that live yesterday.  Total destruction and a complete embarrassment for the GOP and their ridiculous position.  Mr. Constitution SAS doesn't know Richard about it.  Must be taking notes/cues from Tommy Tuberville...

CNN missed some of the other fun at the AZ GOP meeting.

They point out that the meeting was closed to nearly all media except for a few "preferred" outlets which was unusual. But Right Side Broadcasting (an acceptable outlet to them) was live streaming the event and at one point the AZ GOP told them to stop the stream possibly due to what was being said.

Chair Kelli Ward allowed Daniel McCarthy to speak. He is a failed 2020 AZ GOP Senate primary candidate who has threatened to start a 3rd party.

McCarthy said among other things in a rant:

Quote

"You have a uni-party system. I was blocked last year," McCarthy said. "They took a controlled opposition candidate and spoonfed them to you.

"Martha McSally, Doug Ducey, they are controlled opposition, and you know it. This party put Doug Ducey in office and Doug Ducey should be recalled by this party. … Why don't you want to recall the man that certified the fraudulent election?"

At one point the AZ GOP had the sergeant at arms remove non-committee members from the floor of the meeting.

A raucous meeting about the future of the party in Arizona. Maybe a preview of the next couple of years for the GOP.
