No, Republicans are not still supporting Santos or whatever his name is. Many House Republicans are calling for him to resign including former speaker Paul Ryan. The New York State Conservative Party and the Nassau County Republican Committee are also calling for Santos to step down.

Enough of the powerful R's don't necessarily support him, but they won't take action against him either.

They do not want to risk their slim Majority.

Also, part of the GQP Agenda that was just approved was to reduce the power and scope of the Ethics Committee.

The GQP flat out doesn't care about these things anymore. Their only goal is power and a desire to make the Fed weaker than the State Governments.
