That's the level of delusion inside Cult 45 - They literally thing 99% of the country supported their orange clown & it's unbelievable that the orange clown didn't win in Kin Jong Un style 97% to 3%

Wyoming Trumpers have been pressing in recent weeks for a 2020 election audit also even though Trump won the state 70%-27% (Trump's largest margin in any state).

They won't be happy until they have results that are North Korean level.

Pretty obvious at this point that the GOP has become a cult & has no policy issues to run on - it's all about planting the idea that elections are all fraud & that the only way to make them legit is to have all elections under cult control - Saddam Hussein, Putin, et al in recent dictatorial history have used this ruse.......hold an election & show that dear leader didn't get full support, but got 96%

Then they will still want to claim this country is a true democracy.

Greivance Victimhood and Lies turn out to be a great policy position for a party looking to appeal to the vast amount of stupid uneducated white people in this country.

Mix in some dirty immigrants (hopefully pregnant), baby killer docs and Hillary the grand puba of pedophiles.

oh cool, it's time for book burnings in Texas.

Texas is really just leaning into this channel of authoritarianism.

And it is not lost that the folks who continuously quoted 1984 when the Seuss estate pulled a book is now having government review books to pull.  :rotflmfao:

My wife just said don't they think kids will look for other ways to see those books. Maybe someone buys a copy and passes it around.

And she said in case Texas politicians haven't heard, there is now this thingamajig called the internet that all kids know about.

Eh, MAGA is obsessed with the 50s and 60s, so a lot of the "interwebz" can go over their heads.

Taking a non-Newberry or other awarded book out of curricula is probably a pretty good way to cancel it though.  They wouldn't do it if they hadn't successfully done it before.  It's one thing for a helicopter mom at a PTA to not like a book.  When government itself takes a fad topic to whitewash schools, well, those who support it shouldn't come at anyone with the "freedom" talk.
