Bachmeier- injured or COVID?

Sears- concussion

Cord- injured

Fennegan- true freshman

Peters- true freshman

Thanks, Cord is the one I couldn't remember. Fennegan did well for a true freshman. It's hard to get thrown in like that, the rebs are playing several true freshmen as well, but none as important as the QB.

I DVR'd the game yesterday and had to watch it late last night. Our offensive line still needs a lot of work, but I'm loving Bull. That guy is a baller. The defense is still bad even though they held the Rebels scoreless in the 4th quarter. They couldn't wrap up and got burned too many times when Gilliam ran the ball. It was a good win, but still a lot of work to be done.

PLAYER OF THE GAME:
Sophomore defensive end Jacoby Windmon led the way defensively for UNLV with a team-high nine total tackles, two pass breakups and 2.5 quarterback sacks. He became the first Rebel to record more than two sacks in a game since Jeremy Geathers also had 2.5 vs. Wyoming in 2006.

STAT OF THE GAME:
UNLV's defense posted four sacks – all in the first half – in a game for the first time since the 2019 opening win over Southern Utah.

QUOTABLE:
"In the second half we had three turnovers. We didn't execute how we needed to execute in a second half of football and that's going to put you in a position that's going to be tough to overcome."
-UNLV Head Coach Marcus Arroyo

REBEL NOTES:
-Gilliam became the 11th quarterback in UNLV history rush for 100 yards in a game as his 139 net gain on 16 carries (despite losing 31 yard on six sacks) ranked seventh by a Rebel signal-caller. Of the 18 all-time century mark games by a QB, 10 have happened since the start of the 2016 season.
-Sophomore DE Adam Plant Jr., who transferred to UNLV from TCU in the offseason, had 1.5 more QB sacks to give the Las Vegas native 2.5 on the season
-Daniel Gutierrez made both of his field goal attempts to improve to 4 of 5 on the season and 20 of 26 in his Rebel career
-Freshman WR Kyle Williams led the team with five receptions for 52 yards
-Junior WR Tyleek Collins caught a 43-yard touchdown to give him two on the year
