It will be this, and this only, for most of them. It's already starting on this board.

I am an unapologetic Trump supporter and I was shocked he won in 2016. It would be equally shocking to me if he wins in 2020.

Guy attacks media corporations for years, calls them the enemy of the people, but whines if they don't give him enough softball questions or felate him.

The bar for this debate was so low for Trump (based on his performance in the first debate) as long as he didn't drop his pants he was going to fare better.

Imagine if he'd performed like he did last night in the first debate this race would be much tighter. Or if he simply showed up to the second debate?

This last debate was down significantly in viewership from the first debate. Part of that was competition with the NFL game, and undoubtedly people were turned off by the first one.

People on the right will blame Trumps loss in this election to the pandemic, or unfair news coverage.  Some of that is valid, but Trump did himself no favors.

Are you being serious?  Covid was a huge boost to the Dems and their 2020 hopes.  Things were humming before Covid hit and Trump would have cruised to an easy victory.  The economic hit and his overall bungling of the pandemic is the only reason why Biden will probably win.

COVID would have been a huge boost for the GOP if the president knew how to act like an adult during a crisis.

Planning is an exercise of power, and in a modern state much real power is suffused with boredom. The agents of planning are usually boring; the planning process is boring; the implementation of plans is always boring. In a democracy boredom works for bureaucracies and corporations as smell works for skunk. It keeps danger away. Power does not have to be exercised behind the scenes. It can be open. The audience is asleep. The modern world is forged amidst our inattention.

100 year pandemic hit the world no shit we had a bad economy. You guys are something else.  Trump did better than Obama would have. We have H1N1 to compare it to.

If you have any interest in an honest, apples to apples discussion, you would acknowledge that Obama was handed the most profound recession since the great depression and Trump was handed a massive upward trend.

But he didn’t so it wasn’t.  Trump was cruising yo an easy re-election before Covid.

I mean, isn't the most important job of the president to lead the country during a crisis? His inability to do that seems like a pretty central cause of any problems the GOP will have next week. Conservatives took a flier on a guy they knew couldn't lead in a crisis, and they bet that a crisis wouldn't happen in the first four years. One did.

True, and it’s easier for an economy to grow from a trough vs high point...  but it’s all moot b/c the president gets too much blame or credit for economic performance.

Florida will be close.   Rasmussen has Trump up 4

Add three to that for the "shy" Trump voters. It normally would be 7, but Rasmussen gets some of them already.

You didn’t answer the question Biden isn’t going to do anything different than Trump. We already wear mask. The only thing he will do differently is destroy the economy further. H1N1 was a disaster by Obama thank God it was less lethal. If Biden had been President the facts point towards more deaths and a worse economy.

Biden lied his ass off all night. Lucky we have video proof of his lies.

Didn't you just say last week that you're doing fine economically? I honestly hope so. If you are, with due respect you need to start considering the damage we're doing to the environment and continuing reliance on fossil fuels will help perpetuate that.

On your second point, Biden did indeed lie about never having said before that he favors the end of fracking. That was pointed out after the debate on that communist whore of a network guys like you never watch, CNN. Of course, per usual, Biden lied about 1/4 as much as Trump.

This is the understatement of the year.

Anyone else notice that Biden, on a personal level, is scared of Trump. He  almost never looked at Trump or called him by his name. He always talked toward the moderator and called Trump "he", "him", "them" etc. His insults and times he uttered 'come on, man' were always sheepish and muted.. like when a whimp mutters bad things at a bully and really doesn't want to be heard. Trump, otoh, always called Biden "Joe"  and look straight at him while talking about him. Biden was intimidated and scared

You’d be chitting sideways if a giant oompa-loompa was staring at you!

To be fair, the other Oompa Loompas have disavowed him. Something about the native Oompa Loompa eating creatures not being a threat to their society before Willy Wonka got them out of there. With Trump almost crashing the helicopter he was on, claiming he knew how to fly it better than the pilot.
